The step pulley diameters are 11" 9" 7-1/2" and 6" The only thing that I can see wrong is the small chip in the side of one of the small pulleys seen in the last photo. Old HOCKING VALLEY Wooden Corn Sheller Walnut Huller Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW!
This is an exceptionally nice original wooden corn sheller made by Hocking Valley in Ohio. It is in excellent condition as can be seen in the photos. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can find. It is quite solid and sturdy unlike most of these that are quite wobbly. Even the wooden feet are in great shapt. One side has nicer paint than the other but both sides have most of their fancy, detailed scroll work still there just as it left the factory! It has the original belt-driven dust blower on the bottom which is a very unique feature for these shellers. It turns over nicely with very little in the bearings and shells corn just fine. Sometimes these shellers are used to hull walnuts and they work just fine for that, too. This one has the original hand crank and it could easily be converted to belt drive with a pulley ... moreand run with your hit and miss engine at the shows. Nice original shellers like this hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets as most are already in collector hands. This would be a fine addition to your early farm implement collection or display. It would certainly be a conversation piece! The wheels measure 12 inches in diameter with a 2 inch face. The angle iron rails are 31 inches long. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some minor wear but this is to be expected from something that is nearly a century old! This cart work was used under a 3hp Zfrom the factory and will work for any engine of the 1-3hp size. Factory carts like these are pretty hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't miss your chance on it. It would certainly make moving your engine around easier! Stationary Engine Cart for Hit Miss or Perhaps Railroad Cart
This cart has cast iron axles and some cast on the wheels. The remainder of the cart is steel. It has been bead blasted and it has a light coat of grey primer. It is 53 inches long without the handle. 26 inches wide to the outside of the wheel tread, 17 inches tall, Handle is 50 inches long. It has the"Illinois G USA" on the angle iron frame as seen in the second picture. There is a crack in the rear angle iron frame as seen in the 7th picture. The person I got this from said it had a wood deck on it at one time and the some of the bolts that held the wood to the metal frame are in the plastic jar as seen in last(9th) picture. Other wise this cart is in excellent condition. I would estimate the weight of this cart at 80 or more pounds. Old Antique Goulds Burrall Cast Iron Corn Sheller Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam WOW!
This is an original BURRALL's corn sheller made by Goulds Manufacturing Company in Seneca Falls. New York. It is made almost entirely of cast iron. It turns over nicely with mild wear in the bearings and shells corn just fine. It was patented in 1863 and is one of the most unusual and sought after corn shellers by collectors. It is a Number 1 and stands about 39 inches tall. It has some very old and well done repairs that I have tried to point out in the pictures. These shellers hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets as most are already in collector hands. This would be a fine addition to your early farm implement collection or display. You are bidding on a very nice original 3hp Z Fairbanks generator engine. Engine is mechanically in very good shape. Governor bracket has been repaired. But it was done very nicely, reinforced and is probably stronger now than it was before actually. Drain plug hole is broke out, but I will include a very nice undamaged head with the engine sale for free. Radiator looks great. Gas tank in base looks perfect. Has original compression release lever. Lots of green paint on engine yet. Would make a nice display as is, or bolt on a generator or even a water pump to the base! Not many of these out there. The oiler bottom is just setting there, thats obviously not where it goes. No oiler comes with engine. Can deliver to Fastenal for $35 for shipping, shipping should run $125-175 I would think. This is a nice original Fairbanks morse model R rotary high tension magneto for a Hit And miss gas engine It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks or repair of any kind it mounts with two holes. 3 3/4 apart. They don't come along very often in this condition so don't miss out. Elgin Wheel & Engine Company 1/4 HP Upright LEFT HAND MAYTAG Hit Miss Gas Motor
This offering is for one of the Rarest engines you can want to look for in the Elgin line. The 1/4 HP Elgin Engine and Wheel Works"Left Hand" Engine. Left hand meaning everything about this engine is different or backwards from the usual Elgin. It look like a mirror image of the usual Elgin. The engine is built to run opposite direction of the regular engines and the exhaust even comes out the right side instead of the front. Look at the pictures and you will see what I mean. There is only one other of these that I know of and its exactly identical to mine. I am sure there are more but I do know where. These are far and few between. There are some welds and repairs on fins and vanes. One vane has a piece missing. This engine also does something that the regular Elgin's do not do. Elgin Works cut a slot in the flywheel hub for ... morea belt starter clip to catch in. The ink pen is pointing this slot out. This is only seen on these left hand engines. I believe that pictures can describe something far better then I can so I am giving you a gob of pics to look over. Ask any questions you need. If you bid without asking questions I will assume and take it as you are happy with what you see. Warranty is, you will get the engine you see. I believe it was manufactured between 1912 and 1924. Original HOLLEY ALL FUEL Brass Carburetor TWIN CITY Tractor Hit Miss Engine WOW
This is a rather hard to find original brass Holley All Fuel Vaporizer or carburetor. It was used on some Twin City tractors and I'm sure other tractors of the teens and 1920's. It is mostly brass construction. I believe that it mounts to the main body of another carburetor. It has a 5/8 inlet and a 3/4 inch outlet where it attaches to that carburetor. It attaches with one bolt. It has the original float in it. The original cover is there and has a slight crack in the edge of it. It's not 100% complete but the main parts are there and the pieces that are missing should be fairly easy to make. The main body is a good starting point. These original vaporizers are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one here's your chance. The pictures tell the story.
