Up for auction is a starting crank. Does have a repair on the handle as shown in the pictures. 7 3/4" in total length. Hole is just over 1 3/8" No part number on it. Could be used on many different engines. Measure your crankshaft to be sure it will work for you. Do your homework to see if it will work for your application. Shipping to the lower 48 only. Vtg Imperial Brass Hit & Miss Engine antique tractor car plug priming primer cup
Up for bid is a very neat little vintage Imperial brass marked primer cup or priming cup. I really don't know a lot about these but from what I have been told is that these could be used on antique hit& miss engines. Antique cars,antique tractors and other vintage equipment that used priming or primer type plugs. It is approx. 2" long when the handle is pointing straight up and has 1/8" NPT threads. Old Imperial Brass Fuel Strainer Tractor Car Carburetor Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW
This is rather hard to find original Imperial brass fuel strainer for an International Harvester McCormick Deering 10-20 tractor. I believe it was also used on the 8-16 and Titan 10-20. And crossmotor Case tractors. It may have other applications as well. It has the Imperial name cast into it and has 1/4 inch pipe threads on one side and a flare on the other side. It is in excellent conditon with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and has only minimal wear as can be seen in the photos. Everything seems to move as it should. It has been bead blasted so there is no dirt on it anywhere and would polish up real easily if you so choose. These original brass strainers are getting tougher to find in the wild every day so if you need one for a project don't overlook this one. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. This is a 1915 Independent Harvester Co. Poster. The Farmers Company. Plano, Illinois U.S.A. The Fame comes with the poster. The poster in the frame is 29" Tall and 23" Wide. It has Hit and Miss Graphics on it. Along with 9 other old farming tools and equipment pictures. The calendar on the bottom is pretty beat up. But it reads January 1915. As Shown In Picture) The letter in the middle has a title that Reads"The Independent" And it tells you a little bit about the Independent Harvester Company. In the letter it tell you where the Independent was founded, different equipment they make, shareholders, dealers, and policies. This is a real nice original and very hard to find owners manual for a 10-18 Case Crossmotor tractor. It measures about 6 x 8 3/4 inches and has 68 pages. It covers every aspect of operating. Lubricating, adjusting, using, and storing the tractor. It is in excellent condition with some minor wear and has a very minor chip on the bottom of the cover along with the original owners name in pencil. It would be a fine addition to your early Case advertising collection or it would look even nicer displayed with your tractor at the shows. I wouldn't think there's too many of these left to be found in the wild as most of them were lost to the wrath of the wood stove back in the day so don't miss your chance on this one. Nice running Associated Hired Man scale model hit & miss gas engine farm L@@K!!!
You are bidding on a very nice model of a 2 1/4hp Associated Hired Man engine. Flywheels are about 4 1/4" I haven't done much to it. But it does run good, as you can see in the video. This is not a cobbled together model, as you can see, it is very nice. Compression is good, although a little stiff after running. This hadn't run in about 15 or more years until this video was taken today. I'm sure with an hour or two of run time it will loosen up a bit. The engine is mounted on a very nice, well built set of skids, and an equally as nice wood platform, with a built in coil. For ignition, all you need to do is connect a drill battery, or any 6 volt battery you have. Take a good look at the pictures and watch the video. This is a very nice well built model, but comes with no guarantee, so ask questions before you bid if you ... morehave any. This is a rather unique early brass steam whistle. It measures about 3 1/4 inches in diameter at it's largest point and about 13 inches long. It is completely made of brass or bronze and has 1 inch pipe threads that are in great shape. There are four separate chambers in the top part of the whistle. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of and other than a few dings and minor dents to give it age authenticity this is a very nice whistle. It makes a very mellow sound on very little air. It would be fine addition to your brass or whistle collection and it would look pretty nice on your steam engine, too! The pictures tell the story. I believe this to be a late 1920s briggs and Stratton model Fh straight fin. It looks to have been out in the weather for some time it is stuck however most of the bolts came loose easily. POWELL SIGNAL OILER LUBRICATOR No3 Brass Original GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS
This is an original N0.3 POWELLS PAT. SIGNAL OILER. Heavy cast brass oiler and looks to be well built. Has a vent tube. Flat sight glasses are in good condition. Large glass is also in great condition. Still has some old grease stuck to it. 3/8" NPT threads look great but have some old hard grease stuck in them. Some small nicks and wrench marks but is complete and everything moves. Still has the original fill plug. Doesnt look like its been used in years and could use a good cleaning. HILLS MCCANNA MACHANICAL OILER LUBRICATOR Original STEAM GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS
This is an original single feed MECHANICAL OILER with the name HILLS MCCANNA CO CHICAGO. Large. Heavy, nickle plated brass oiler. Single feed mechanical oiler. I removed it from a small vertical steam engine years ago. It looks complete and everything seems to be functioning properly. Has not had any fresh oil in it for years and I didnt want to add any just to see if it would pump. Has allot of old thick oil still stuck to it but would look great after its all cleaned up. Glass is in great condition and not broken. Mounts on a 1/2" NPT and has a lock nut to lock it in place. Oil feed comes out the side and is 1/8" npt. I dont see any cracks, breaks. or welds. Here we have a matched pair[2] of old antique heavy cast iron wheels that is straight out of the old barn that I found them in. Would make great wheels to use for a hit and miss engine cart or simular. The measure about 6 inch across and are about 2 inch wide. Are for 7/8 inch shafts. No damage such as cracks. Breaks etc. They are rusty, not heavly pitted, and dirty as you can see from my photos. Steam engine boiler tube roller expander hit miss
This is an older style tube roller in decent condition. It is lightly rusted from sitting on the shelf. But still turns freely and functions as it should. It was included when I purchased a Frick engine and boiler a number of years ago, but was the wrong size for my boiler. It is marked as for 2 1/4 in. tubes. It was made by the Ajax Manufacturing Co. Pittsburgh, PA. I imagine that company is long out of business. Still a good usable tool for anyone with a steam boiler that has that size tube.

2hp Witte dragsaw engine, hit miss?
This is an old Witte one lunger dragsaw engine. It has the slanted water hopper extension and a large wooden pulley attached. The gas tank has never been installed. The carb looks rebuilt or newer. Shouldn't need much work to get it running. I can store it until spring if nessesary.

This engine is in great shape. I got it from my father-in-law. He had the head rebuilt and no one has tried to start it since. I believe that the magneto sparks. I think it will run without much effort but cannot quarentee it. The gas tank is up under the engine, it has a nice oiler and magneto. Please look at the pictures. Here is an original carb or fuel mixer for a Novo hit and miss engine. The carb is in pretty good shape and almost ready to use. It will need a few more screws to hold it together and a gasket made for between the two parts. In the last two pictures where I have the bowl off there are a few small holes in the gasket surface which could look like a weld. Vintage Ashcroft Altitude Steam Gauge Brass Steampunk Hit Miss Engine
Vintage circa 1910steam gauge by Ashcroft Mfg Co. The gauge measures approx 6 3/4" across the back- 6" across the bezel- and 2 1/4" deep These gauges were used on steam powered machines including trains. Tractors and ships to measure the water level of the steam. The Altitude gauge consists of an iron body, a brass bezel, a glass dial cover, and a silver face plate with lettering. The face of the gauge displays 2 hands one red and one black. The black hand features a crescent moon on one end and a moon-pointer on the oother, The Manufactures Logo- Ashcroft Mfg. Co. and Altitude are displayed on the bottom of the dial. The glass face is clean and clear.The iron body is in painted black and shows signs of age and usage. As does the brass bezel. This is 20" long Overall. 4 3/4" Wide At the front& 6 1/2" Wide at the Back. Bolt spacing is Approx. 4 1/4" at the back. One single Mounting Hole in the front by what I think Would be A relief for the Oiler. This Has A Hairline crack that Goes About Half way Across the back As can be seen in the pictures. But This Seems real Solid, Once it was on the engine it would hardly be noticeable, OR IT Could be Fixed Pretty Easily.
