Old EMERSON BRANTINGHAM EB Hit Miss Gas Engine Webster Magneto Ignitor NICE!!
This is a very hard to find original Webster magneto ignitor bracket for an Emerson Brantingham gas engine. It is bracket number 303K47 and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some nice original red paint on it yet. There is very little wear on the movable shaft and the points look like new. Everything on it works as it should and it is ready to be used on an engine. It mounts with two 1/2 inch holes 2 1/2 inches apart on center. If you need one for a project or a restoration they don't get much nicer than this one. It has been a long time since I've seen one of these for sale and it wasn't as nice as this one. Here is a casting kit for a Reid oil field engine by Burns and Horner. As far as I know these kits are no longer being produced. I have owned a couple of these as finished models and I can tell you they are very sought after. What you see is what you get. I think it is complete but I don't know that for sure. I do not have any plans or blue prints but I think some could be had one way or another. I think these were offered in two sizes, this is the larger one. Some of these also had an aluminum main frame this one is cast iron as you can see. This is a very hard to find casting kit. 14-1/2" diameter flywheels. Heavy 112 lbs. For sale a very rare and unusual pump jack for a Waterloo antique stationary gas engine. Pump jack plate that holds the well pump is marked waterloo gasoline engine company. I have not seen another one like this and would be a great addition to a waterloo or john deere collection. Pump is loose but missing small gear and pulley. This auction is for a nice original 1 HP IHC Mogul gas engine magneto drive gear. It has a part number of 1879T on it. And measures approx. 3 1/2" in diameter, and has 32 teeth with a 3/8" hole to mount on the IHC or Accurate Engineering R low tension magneto for igniter fired engines. Up for auction is a nice side cover for a Maytag 92 gas engine. This one is for what Maytag enthusiasts call for the Model 19 It has the usual surface rust. The cover has a repair on the front screw hole as can be seen in the pictures. A nice caution plate is attached by rivets under the script Maytag. The caution plate has deeply struck number 19. Serial# 544339. Built 1934. Turns over with strong compression and bounce. Checked Mag- looks clean and complete- ran a strip of business card through the points and got a weak spark. Missing air cleaner and points cover. One broken mounting lug on base- see pic. Sector gear for kick start has old weld. Foot start works as it should. All else appears complete and original. Unmolested and dirty. Some light surface corrosion- no heavy corrosion or pitting. Gas tank is clean. Spark plug is Champion pipe thread- no id letter or number- looks good to use. Maytag Model #92 1927 Hit and Miss Gas Engine Vintage
This is a 1927 Model 92 Maytag ringer washer hit and miss gas motor. It was completely redone about 7 years ago. The aluminum parts were burnished and cast was blasted and painted. The Champion spark plug was new. It has a lot of detail with quality(not broken or cracked) parts. I made the exhaust pipe for it and it makes smoke rings when it's running. This motor hasn't been started for two or three years it ran fine last time it was started and all the fuel was drained. I haven't tried to start it because it's very cold here. But I checked and it has good spark. It mounts on an oak cart that I made and has old steel wheels. This motor has a lot of detail and will be shipped in a well packed large box with wood floor. It also includes the arm that rides on the cam lobe. The rod measures 15.5 inches in length. The bracket or perch does not have any numbers. Here is a# 8 Lunkenheimer Sentinel Oiler. On the top cap it reads. Lunkenheimer No.8 Fig 1300 Sentinel Made In USA. The top glass is 5" tall and 4" wide. It is in good overall condition with no chips or cracks on both top and bottom glass, but the top glass does have a few light scratches on the outside. Overall height is 10" and it has 3/4" connecting threads. I did take this oiler apart to lightly clean and put new gaskets in it. Nice oiler to put on your hit and miss engine, traction engine, or to display. Please check out my other auctions on now and in the next few weeks. I do combine shipping and pack well. NICE ORIGINAL 6-8HP ASSOCIATED GAS TANK HIT & MISS GAS ENGINE FARM L@@K!!!!
You are bidding on a very nice original gas tank. For a 6 and/or 8hp Associated engine. These pictures do not do the tank justice. The tank is in excellent shape, only thing wrong with it, is that it's missing the filler cap, I'm sure you can find a new one from multiple suppliers. The top of the tank is 15" in diameter, the bottom is 13.5" in diameter and the tank is 6 3/4" tall. This is not a small tank! I really think it would look correct on a 6, 8 and even a 12hp engine. I think it's correct for both 6 and 8hp, but nobody is going to tell you it's wrong if you put in behind a 12hp. There are NO pinholes, the gas line fitting looks to have been resoldered, it probably broke lose years ago, but that is the only thing wrong with the tank and all it hurts is looks, you could remelt the solder and do a better ... morejob if your peticular. The inside of the tank looks GREAT, no built up varnished gas, or rust. This tank is ready to mount behind your Associated engine, and run your gas line. Nice patina. These real large embossed tanks don't come up for sale often, and usually not this nice! NO pitting, only a few very minor dents on the top. They aren't making them! Feel free to ask questions. You are bidding on a hard to find. KW magneto for a 10-20 Titan tractor. The mag and base look to be in great shape, average wear in the armature, impulse works fine. I tested it for spark and didn't get any, I'm sure all it probably needs is a good points filing, I never even took the points cover off. There is no damage or repairs to anything, everything looks very good. Looks to be a fresh off the tractor, magneto and bracket, that I'm sure needs very little to be operational. Here is a hard to find. Original oiler for a 3hp IHC M engine. The top and bottom glass are both good, this oiler is missing nothing. It's in original, unpolished condition, fresh off a nice greasy engine. With a light cleaning, this oiler will be ready to go! Roughly 5 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" in diameter. Here is a very hard to find. Original 1hp IHC oiler, that is correct for 1hp Moguls, Famous, and Tom Thumb. The top glass is cracked, and the bottom glass is missing. It is missing the little thumb screw that tightens down the oil flipper. It is also missing the ball check, all of the problems I mentioned can be easily remedied. McCormick Deering Model M Stationary hit miss gas engine starting crank 1.5 hp
I have for auction this starting crank for a McCormick Deering stationary hit miss gas engine 1.5 hp. It has been welded on the part where it goes on the crankshaft. It is missing the insert for the crankshaft and the handle on the end. The crank measures 9.5 inches in length. It has 9756 T as a part number in the casting. It is rusty but just needs a cleaning and some paint and your engine. Buyer pays shipping and I will calculate shipping after the auction.
