This is a Lunkenheimer No. 3 Pioneer oiler for a hit and miss engine. What you see is what you get. Please ask if you have any questions about the item. On the fill hole cover it is stamped MAR 15 1887 On the stopper it is stamped PAT'D DEC. 31 89. I cleaned this as best as I could. Will need new gaskets if you're planning on using it Thanks for looking!

Maytag antique gasoline engine model 82 hit and miss! Great Condition!
This listing is for a model 82 Maytag. The engine is in good condition with the exception of some flywheel pitting on the very outside rim. Someone filled in the pitted spot with JB weld and smoothed it out. Other than that the engine is great. It has the original pulley and exhaust flange which are both usually missing. The engine has good compression and spark. No cracks. Breaks, or welds anywhere.

It appears 99% complete as far as I can tell and everything appears to be good! Except there appears to be a ground tab missing off of the rear cover. By appearances it just needs a take down and freshen up, meaning torn down, cleaned, inspected, bearings repacked new condenser and points dressed to put it in service. I opened up the points cover and the contacts look good. The points assembly looks good overall. The mag you see is the one you will get. Original MASON STANLEY LOCOMOBILE Live Steam Car Engine Hit Miss NICE!!
This is a real nice original and very early two cylinder steam engine for an early automobile. It was made by Mason and was used in some of the Stanley and Locomobile cars. It measures about 26 x 12 x 9 inches. It has 35 cast into the crank. The serial number? It is in excellent condition with very little wear and no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know about. It turns over very easily by hand. Even the chain sprocket is in good condition. This has a brass frame. I don't think this engine has very many hours on it. This engine is is in near pristine condition for being almost 115 years old! These engines hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets so if you need one for a project or just for a conversation piece here it is. The pictures tell the story. large ignitor for unknown gas engine with a 3 magnet webster magneto. my old book says the larger magnet webster is for engines at least 12 hp. looks complete except for one mounting bolt on bottom of ignitor. brass name plate on mag missing. appears to have no brass on mag. it is all free. it is not cleaned. i learned my lesson about cleaning up parts along time ago. you get it right off the shelf. has primer threaded opening on the left side of the flange. the ignitor mounting holes are 3" apart. wish i knew what it fits. my dad had 100 engines and it didn't fit any of them. as for most 100 year old parts. I started cleaning engine and I would say under all the grease it probably retains 80 to 90 percent original paint but still needs a lot of cleaning. I believe all it needs is the rod bearing and it will be ready to go. The rod and crank throw are in good condition. I reworked mag but did not clean it to retain original appearance. MAG IS VERY HOT. I have been in the hobby for 20+ years and am now going back to my old cars and it all will sell. I built the quality cart for easy transport but it is not original. Personally I thought the small original carts were unsafe for this size engine. Old 3hp FAIRBANKS MORSE Z Red Line Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Magneto WOW
This is a rather hard to find 3hp Fairbanks Morse Z that left the factory as a hit and miss engine instead of a throttling governor as most of the Z's are. These were commonly called the"Red" line engines. It is an older repaint and turns over nicely with very little wear anywhere. It has excellent compression and has been run in the last few years. There are no cracks. Breaks, or repairs that I can see or know of except for a very well done repair on the rocker tower which I've pointed out in the pictures. The engine has the factory belt pulley, oiler, and coil box on it, all of which are usually missing. The original gas tank looks to be in great shape as well. The original starting crank is with it. This has two chips around the pivot pin but works just fine the way it is. I can deliver this engine for free to Baraboo, ... moreWI, Portland, IN, or Coolspring, PA, later this year. This is a rather hard to find original pair of Bethlehem mica spark plugs that were commonly used in the International Harvester Titan tractors. They have 3/4 inch tapered pipe threads that are in good condition. They are rather large plugs measuring about 4 1/2 inches tall and are in decent condition for their age. One has the center electrode broken off and the other has the short one nipped off a little bit. They would look great displayed with your tractor or in your spark plug collection. Original ASSOCIATED Chore Boy Hit Miss Gas Engine Crankcase Main Bearings NICE!
This is an original crankcase for a 1 3/4hp Associated Chore Boy hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for a broken off stud where the cylinder mounts to it. The original serial tag is on it and also in excellent condition. The main bearing caps are also included but one of the bearings has a chip out of it as shown in the pictures. This should be fairly easy to replace with a little new babbitt. The entire piece has lots of original paint and even more to be found under the heavy grease that's on it. If you need one for any reason here's your chance. They just don't get much nicer. 3 WHEEL HIT MISS ENGINE/MAYTAG CART
I think this item was made to hold an old hit miss or Maytag engine. Platform frame is constructed with 1 3/4" angle iron. Measuring 22 1/2" x 17" Overall length Of item is 31" T-handle is 34" long and attaches to the front caster wheel. This front caster is on H/D ball bearings. The 3 H/D cast iron wheels are 6" in diameter and have a 2 1/4" wide track. Wheels have oil holes for the axles, but could be tapped out and grease fittings installed. I am unsure of the reasoning of the two pipes on the front. This H/D cart would be great for your hit miss engine or could be used for numerous tasks around a shop. LOCATED IN NORTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS. This is a very good condition Jacobson gas engine. It has the double rocker arm that was only offered 1 year and the rare as hens teeth air cleaner. I think this one was made in 1928-1932. It is a 4 cycle engine.I have not tried to start it but see no reason why it wont go. I bought it from another collector. Who I trust and have bought and traded with for years with no problems.He said that he had run it and it ran well. This is an American Bosch AB33 high tension magneto. As used on the Fairbanks Morse Type Z engines. This magneto is in average condition. The armature is stuck and the points are rusty. Two of the magnet screws are missing. Otherwise the magneto is complete with the point cap, but would need a bit of work. The flick arm is 2-3/4" long from the center of the armature to the tip. This is a small sized German Bosch flick magneto. It is a high tension magneto. I think the model is a Be1f. Although there is no model number stamped on the body. It has a brass base. But has been modified at the bottom. That strap will unscrew easily. The leadout is damaged at the top. Apart from that, the rest of the magneto is complete(except spring) and in good condition. Old Original Associated United Hit Miss Gas Engine Carburetor Mixer 4HP? CGD GGD
This auction is for an original old Associated or United gas engine carburetor mixer. I believe this will fit 4 HP engines. But I will let you out there decide for sure. It looks to have a part number of either CGD, or GGD on it. It also looks like someone has made a new needle adjustment for it recently. The mounting hole measure approx. 2 7/8" center to center, and it measures approx. 6 1/4" tall overall. The only thing I can see wrong with this, is that the piece on the bottom with the holes in it has 1 larger hole, and a small crack that you can see in the pictures. Vintage Powell 1 Pt Boson Hit Miss Engine Brass Lubricator Oiler
I am pleased to offer you a nice vintage Hit miss engine oiler that recently came out of one my barn estates that is signed Powell 1 Pt Basom with a stamp on the top for the Bessemer Gas Co of Grove City Pa. This is an oiler that needs work or would be useful as trading stock or for pieces if you do some of your own repair. Made of solid brass and has both glass tubes knocked out but with a little elbow grease and some old fashion work would be easy to take off or refurbish. Nice 15-25 L Rumely Oil Pull lightweight tractor hit & miss engine farm L@@K!!
You are bidding on a nice 15-25 L Rumely Oil-Pull tractor. This tractor is in overall nice shape. But does have a couple things that need attention. The rubber on the rear wheels is falling off, was put on there probably in the early 50's, so that will need to be removed. There is also an engine knock, this engine has sat for the last 50 years at the same place, and not run until just last spring. It was run and shown at 4 or 5 shows last year and ran and drove around just fine. It smoked a little but nothing too excessive, this year it was brought to a show, and started up, and after a while started smoking the whole grounds out, and spitting oil. The tractor is now burning cooling oil and knocking. We BELIEVE the knock is due to preigniton, or deiseling, due to amount of oil it's now getting. A head gasket may fix the oil burning ... moreand knocking both, but I don't know that for sure. All I know is what I have said already. This tractor used to belong to Harry Woodmansee of Dowling, MI, one of the most prominent steam engine men there ever was. The fenders are not original, but included in the sale of the tractor are two brand NEW fenders from LeFever, just need to be put on. Also included are a set of lugs for the rears(no front skid rings) a nice original starting tank with good primer. Also included is a brand new tin pulley cover, and a water tank, that is only good for maybe a pattern. The gas tank in this tractor is not correct but works just fine, and we are not sure if the exhaust stack is or not but it's been on there for probably 70 years. Good compression on both cylinders, one is just slightly better than the other. This tractor is not parade or show ready until the oil burning and knock are fixed. I had plans of going through this tractor myself this winter but have way too many projects ahead of it. One of the two exhaust flanges are not original, but works fine, see picture) There have been 3 or 4 rough 15-25's sell in the last year, none were even close to running, and all brought

This is a Lunkenheimer No. 4. Figure 1300 Sentinel steam engine oiler that was m ade in the U.S. A. It appears to be in very good overall condition. It does not appear to have any oil residue in it and does not show any wear. Please refer to the pictures for further details. I found it in my father's garage after he passed away.
