ANTIQUE 1929 MAYTAG RESTORED LONG FRAME GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for sale is a very nice Maytag Model 92 long frame Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 409483 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug ... morewire with new ends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. The frame does have a very small chunk pissing that you can see in the picture. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. I use foam spray to pack the motor and it takes a lot when I am done it will float in the ocean

You are bidding on an antique Ottawa Drag Saw Hit and Miss Engine. Made by the Ottawa Mfg Company. Ottawa Kansas. I found it at a NH estate sale tucked away in the back of a barn. The brass plate on the hopper reads"The Ottawa No: TE 27676, HP: 5, Speed: 550 RPM" Engine turns over nice and smooth. Has good compression. Still has the antique spark plug. All of the levers and controls work. Nothing is seized. Gas tank is n good shape. Hopper has no cracks or repairs that I can see. The machine is mounted on a moving dolly. It was probably mounted on this since new. There also is an electric box on one side of the engine. Plaque reads Wico Type EK. The oiler on the top of the engine still has oil in it. It is heavy but it moved nicely on the cart. The oiler is marked"The D.T. Williams Valve Company No, 1" Comes with a large ... morebuzz saw attachment. It mounts right to the engine. The two fly wheels on either side measure 18" and 15" Approximate engine measurements, not including the cart are 24" wide. 34" deep. 24" tall. Approximate measurements with the cart are 93" long. 33: wide. The saw attachment id also in good condition and the blade measures 24" in diameter. Nice old antique hit and miss engine. Old IHC M Mogul Hit Miss Gas Engine Cast Iron Belt Pulley Steam Tractor Magneto
This is an original cast iron flat belt pulley for an International Harvester Mogul or Type M gas engine. It is part number 955T and will fit on a 2 1/2hp Mogul or a 3hp Type M engine. It measures about 5 inches in diameter with a 5 1/2 inch face. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs and is ready to be used on an engine. The only thing it needs is the set screw that screws down on the keyway of the crankshaft extracted. This should be pretty easy to drill out and replace. This pulley fits on a 1 3/4 inch diameter crankshaft and will certainly work on any engine that it fits on but it was factory equipment for the International Harvester engine line. This is an original tachometer drive unit that mounts to the generator on an older Case tractor. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It moves freely and the gear looks good. The threads to mount the cable also look good. It came from an old tractor repair shop and most likely came off a generator that had gone bad. It has the Case logo cast into the housing and I would say that it is ready to go to work on a tractor. I believe it has many applications in the Case tractor lineup. Old Ford Model T Car Truck Generator Doodlebug Tractor Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam
This is a rather hard to find original generator for a Ford Model T car or truck. I believe it is the same on vehicles from all the years of production from 1909-1927. It seems to be in pretty good condition overall with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind that I have noticed and very little wear in the bearings or on the armature where the brushes run. The drive gear has been cut off of each side and will need to be replaced. The generator has the original dust band on it over the brushes. These original generators are rather tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets so if you've been looking for one here's your chance. I see these on Ebay for over $250 rebuilt. This is a really neat and rather hard to find original book printed by International Harvester Company in 1920 titled"Internal Combustion Engines and Tractors" It measures about 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches and has 175 pages. It is in excellent condition for being nearly a century old! It covers all of the aspects of the early engines in the IHC Titan 10-20 and 15-30 chain drive tractors and also the 8-16 Kerosene tractor. It has chapters on design. Function, classification of parts, fuels, lubrication, requirements, ignition, materials, storing and overhauling, and troubles. It is very detailed and is illustrated very nicely. It is approx. 34" long and weighs about 150 lbs. The Pulley that is on it is 12" in diameter. It does turn over but feels tight. I removed the cylinder head and cleaned it out and the cylinder looks good. But it may need new leathers. There is a little rust on the gears. There are no cracked or damaged parts, with the exception of the Pulley. The pulley has 2 cracked spokes. This Pump will ship anywhere in the lower 48 States for $100.00 via FedEx. Old Nelson Bros Hit Miss Gas Engine Cast Iron Crank Guard Fender Steam Tractor
I believe this is an original crank guard or fender for a Nelson Brothers Jumbo hit and miss gas engine. It was likely used on many other engines that were built by Nelson Brothers. It is part number T-5 and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is about 4 1/2 inches wide. It mounts with one bolt to the back of the crankcase. It may fit other engines as well so measure your engine or consult a parts book or fellow collector to be sure it's the right one for your engine. Antique No1 Hit Miss Flat Belt Grist Grain Burr Stationary Mill Engine 1878 1880 Older No. 1 Hit-Miss Grain Burr Mill. What you see in the photos is what there is. This mill is marked" No. 1" and as best I can read is also marked" Patented April- 1878" and" April- 1880" This mill is frozen up and will not turn. I have not done anything with it since I aquired it many years ago from my local scrap iron dealer then. Hopper is as seen in the photos appears to be made from the tapered top of an old milk can. There is a crack in the frame on the one side and I have included photos to show that. It can be repaired. The catch that engages the backside of the adjusting rod handle is also broken off. Overall height as it appears to the top of the hopper is 23 inches. Overall width at the widest. Which is to the outside ... moreof opposite side feet is 19-1/4 inches. Overall longest length to the end of the adjustment rod stickin out on the one end is apprx 28-1/2 inches. Without that end of adjustment rod sticking out. The length is apprx 24-1/2 inches long. Flat belt pulley and flywheel are good. Drive flat belt pulley is 6-1/2" diameter. And the pulley face is 5-7/8" wide. Some old orange paint underneath shows the original paint color. Antique Vintage Hit Miss Water Wagon or Fire Truck Pump This listing is for an Antique Hit Miss Water Pump. This is a water pump off an old frame that I bought years ago. I just had the frame with the pump attached on the one end minus any tank or running gear. I assumed it was a water wagon frame. That red frame is long gone. I have never used this pump but is has always turned over and looks good. It has always been in dry storage. It does turn over(and over) without issues or problems. The bearings and journals all look good; and the pistons move up and down as they should. Everything is nice and tight as it should be. I do not see any wear in the bearings. Journals, rods, pistons, etc. You need a pulley on the shaft to turn it, it is that good and tight. It has never been frozen up. It is in really good condition for its age. The pulley ... moreshaft is keyed on both ends and is a 1-1/8 inch shaft. I do not know how it was driven of used. There are part numbers on the pump but no name brand. It is mainly cast iron construction and is very heavy at apprx 90 pounds. It is actually not very big but is very heavy. As it sets on the cement(just a little crooked as it leans back) in the pictures it is apprx 19 inches tall. Front to back is apprx 13 inches. Antique Vintage Hit Miss This listing is for an Antique Hit Miss Gas or Fuel Tank on Stand This is an old gas or fuel tank for a stationary engine. It is a nice smaller size. The tank is held on the short stand by two straps. I took it off the stand to check the bottom of the tank. Which looks good. There is a fuel gauge on the one side and a petcock& sediment bowl on a different side. There is a drainplug on the bottom accessable through a hole in the stand platform. I have never used this so I do not know the condition of that fuel gauge. There is rust/rusting inside so it would need to be cleaned out. Small shallow dent on the top that is hard to see and I have include a photo to try to show this. The petcock& sediment bowl would be taken off for shipping. Up for bids is this great barn find. It is a very early Standard Oil gas engine oil crate. It has a great paper label with nice old graphics. The centerpiece of the label is a hit and miss engine. The paper lable has some minor losses but show nicely. The label is loos in places and does have some tears. I'm sure this crate could be restored beautifully. I did not want to put any type of finish on it as some want them as found. It was covered with a century worth of barn dust and grime when I found it at a recent estate sale. The only thing I have done is wipe it down so you could see the great graphics. I'm sure with some patience and cleaning the old label could really shine. The crate measures 15" high X 10" wide X 11" deep. The wood sides are nailed in. The back has some stenciled writing on it but I can't make ... moreit out. Up for sale today is an antique Maytag Wringer Washing Machine Hit and Miss Engine Wrench. This wrench measures approx. 5 3/8" long and about 2 1/16" wide. Its in good condition. With no damage. There is some typical light use wear and some light surface rust, but I believe it would clean up and make a great addition to your antique gas engine or Maytag collection. VINTAGE COMPRESSION GREASE CUP -- HIT - MISS ENGINE / MACHINERY
Up for auction is this vintage compression type grease cup. In used condition. It still has its old fitting attached, and still contains some grease. There are no markings that I could see, so maker is unknown. It is a simple devise, that is a cup with a threaded cap. Turning the cap applies pressure to the grease, and the grease flows to its target. The cup alone measures about 1 1/4" in diameter, and is about 1 1/2" tall. The nipple at the delivery end looks to be slightly bent, but that's not the important part in this auction. This was found with a bunch of other oil and grease cups and fittings.
