Original RUMELY X L OIL PULL Prairie Tractor Engine Cylinder Head Hit Miss Gas
This is a VERY hard to find original cylinder head for an early Rumely Oil Pull tractor. It is part number C5P475 and measures about 11 1/2 x 20 inches. Someone that knows more about Rumely's than I do says it's for an X or and L. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. Two of the valve guides are broken off at the head but this shouldn't be a big problem as I believe they are press in guides. This head has been laying around an old farm shop for decades but with a little rework would be a very nice and usable head. It has the sleeve venturi in it yet. The old spark plugs will need to be removed and one of the bolts that held the exhaust flanges on will need to be extracted as it has broken off. However, you will not need to do any welding or brazing as this head is free of cracks as far as I can ... moresee. If you need a replacement for a bad head or if yours is missing don't miss your chance on this one. It will likely be a long time before another one turns up and it probably won't be this nice. You are bidding on a very nice running. Rare size, 2 1/2hp Detroit upright 2 cycle farm engine. This engine is in nice shape, and starts right up and runs strong. It is mounted on the original skids. It has a VERY well built cooling tank with gas tank underneath, if you had to build that cooling tank it would cost you quite a lot. Whoever built the gas tank and cooling tank was very skilled. This engine has NO cracks, breaks or welds. The checkvalve has a small bit of solder on it, but that is only the checkvalve, and can be replaced, even though it works fine, I personally would leave it alone. Water jacket is perfect, no cracks or issues at all, which is very rare for these engines. Engine starts very easily. It has the correct belt pulley. Carburetor and air valve are both is excellent condition. Flywheels run true, with no issues. Compression ... moreis pretty good. Advance/retard lever works great, and you can idle this engine right down where to probably 100 rpm! You hardly ever see these engines for sale, and almost never see them running at shows. You are bidding on an exceptionally nice. 7hp hit& miss Nelson Brothers Jumbo engine, tagged Sattley and sold by Montgomery Ward. This engine is in far above average condition. The compression is phenomenal, you can hold in on compression as long as you like and it won't leak by. There is also NO blowby when it runs. This is a nice tight engine. The only weld I can see is on the head, and it appears to be a good job and does not leak at all, I've had water in it for a whole day with no leaks. It has the really hard to find, two piece, cast iron crankgaurd on it yet, which is almost always missing on larger Jumbo engines. It has the original, factory belt pulley and muffler as well. You are bidding on a very nice. Hard to find 1 1/2hp Stover model KE engine, this engine is SMALL, it's the same size as the 1hp, two people can pick it up with great ease. It is one of the rarer models, and in my opinion has a lot of nice to look at monkey motion. The way the magneto trips and detent works is nice to watch. This engine is very unworn, gears are in great shape, and valves have very little slop. Compression is really strong. Has a nice, brass, ball check oiler on it. It is mounted on the original skids, and I believe the gas tank is also correct. The only weld on the engine that I can see, is a braze on the rocker arm, which appears to be a very good job. The only other flaw with the engine, is the pulley side flywheel does have a slight wobble. I've looked the flywheel over and don't see anything wrong, it will ... morenever give you any trouble. The Wico EK magneto is nice and HOT. Overall this is a really nice, tight, strong running engine, and a model and size you almost never see for sale. The glass is 3/16" thick, 1 11/16" dia. and 1 1/2" long, as seen in pics. the glass has a small chip in the bottom edge, dont know if it would seal with a new gasket, could be cut or ground down, or simply replaced, the top cap is in good condition, the bottom cap has a small ding in the edge which is more than likely what chipped the glass, still a good usuable part, being sold as is. This is a nice old wico model c magneto type 19D. Turns over nice. Has inpules and will make a nice spark. It is dirty and in original condition. There is something black that had dripped onto the top of it at one time, there is some masking tape residue stuck to the side of it, and the terminal in the side of it is loose and wiggles in the case. these are the only flaws I see, but please look at the pictures. Appears complete accept maybe the log spikes. May be the original chain. The saw does not show sign of being used a lot. Nearly no burr on the bar from use. Rewind works good, has compression, and enough spark to shock me. Needs the tank flushed out, has light amount of gum or old oil from the gas mix in it. Small amount of casting broken away on bottom end of handle. I think it would run if you fueled it up, but needs tank cleaned. Has bent cooling fin as pictured. Please allow additional time for FedEx shipment as I am considerable distance from a drop off point and ship with them no more than a couple times per week.

Here is a very rare Webster Type 4 HJ rotary high tension magneto. It turns over fine and a strong magnetic pull can be felt while turning. There is no noticeable bearing wear. While I was playing with it I had is making spark then in stopped making spark for some reason. There is sparking at the points now. Maybe that means in need a condenser? Barn Find Maytag Model 92 Gas Hit & Miss Engine Motor-Wringer Washer #753192
This is an excellant"Barn Find" Model 92 Maytag Engine with the“short. Deep” fuel tank. It carries a serial number of 753192 which makes it a 1936 built(approximately) in the month of November of that year. I obtained this engine with intent of getting it running and using it for show. But life's card dealing is making it obvious that I am not going to be able to do that. This engine is a“prime” piece of American history. It looks complete except for the kill switch spring and pull wire. Although the plug wire and cover is not shown in the pics it is included and will be shipped as part of this sale. I don't see any cracks. Breaks, or welds. It turns over freely and has good compression. I cannot imagine it taking too much to get this engine running like a top. It is a nice engine for being near 79 years old. Great for a ... morebeginner or an experienced collector that wants to add a nice 92 engine to his/her collection. Fairbanks Morse Type Z Style D Hit and Miss Engine ZD Throttle Governed Green
Up for sale is a Fairbanks Morse ZD. Type Z Style D, Hit&Miss ZD Throttle Governed Engine, Please read discription and Look at all Pictures as they are a part of the discription. 1944 Fairbanks Morse ZD Type Z Style D Engine is mounted on wood skids and on a Two Man Solid Oak Handtruck, the two wheel cart in pics. is not included, S.N. 860134 is cast into a raised pedistal behind the water hopper, I believe that puts it at around 1944. Last run in October, appprox. 1/2 Hr. run time on new quart oil change, Has no CBWs, just one minor flaw I will mention later. Has Mag Type FM-J1A2, which starts the engine, it also has the No.498607 on the lower edge of the mag. When I purchased this engine it had great compression, but no spark, I cleaned the mag, filed& reset the points, now good spark, great comp. then soaked the carb& check ... morevalve in cleaner and polished the carb throats, also removed the head and cleaned carbon deposits from the end of the piston, the valves and valve seats, and the head surface, sprayed the cyclinder with fogging oil and reinstalled the head, again, great comp. It was rusty& had only approx. 1/3 of the original paint left, we gave it a light blasting, checked for cracks, found none, then gave it 3 coats of primer and 4 coats of quality Hunter Green Paint, the rusty Exhaust Baffle in pics. is basically what the rest of the Engine looked like, the baffle plate has since been glass blasted and painted with Black 1200 degree high temp paint, looks good against the green. In pics. You can see the original paper thin fuel tank was rusted beyond repair, We fabricated a new tank out of 1/16" steel, to the exact dimensions as the original, putting a new drain bung and plug in the same position, using the original mounting straps& the original fuel fill/ check valve fitting, primed and painted it to match the engine, it was also coated with Red Coat Tank Sealant so it will never rust again and has not had fuel in it, before it was finished We put the check valve in a can of gas

It consists of a breather cover that the water pump and auto sparker can mount on and then the piece that the auto sparker mounts directly on. This is a reproduction setup. It is made of cast iron and looks very nice. I am not for sure who made it, I bought it a number of years ago and it has just been setting on the shelf ever since. This is a Webster magneto igniter bracket for a Stover gas engine. It is in good shape but it is missing the return spring and the trip roller is stuck. The spring is something you can get at a hardware store and I think the trip roller should loosen up very easily The Wendel's Notebook states that it fits a 4hp or 10hp engine. Original David Bradley Tractor Engine Vintage GoKart Briggs Minibike Hit Miss
This is a Very Nice Original David Bradley Walk Behind Tractor Briggs Engine that came off a model 917.57560 tractor. I had a David Bradley tiller that had a bad engine so I took this model 60 engine which was the same but this has a governor and switched the parts from the tiller engine over to this motor. I used the tiller a couple times and it ran great! Tiller tines got caught up in a cable and tiller trans broke. Put this back on a tiller or model 60 or use it as a mini-bike go-kart or whatever! I had to weld the screw on back of motor as seen in picture to hold gas tank up this engine didn't have that screw like the old tiller engine. If you removed tank cut screw off and grind smooth weld doesn't affect engine in any way. I am including the id tag with engine as seen in picture. I will also include 2 rivets if you want to install ... moreon a tractor. This ran great last years in my tiller. I put a little gas in spark plug fired right up! Shouldn't take much to get going. Oil will be drained from engine if shipped. I will insure motor for whatever it sells for through post office. Engine will be put in a cardboard box lined in wood with peanuts and plastic wrap. Old ALAMO ROCK ISLAND EMPIRE Hit Miss Gas Engine Exhaust Rocker Arm Lever Steam
This is a very hard to find original exhaust rocker arm for an Alamo. Rock Island, Empire, Cockshutt, or other Alamo built hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It measures about 6 3/16 inches long and 1 5/8 inches"tall" with a 1/2 inch hole in it and is in excellent used condition. There are no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind. The pivot pin and nut are included. I'm pretty sure this is for a 2hp engine but it may fit other sizes, too, so please do your homework to make sure it fits your application. It is ready to be used on an engine or put on your shelf for a spare. If your rocker arm is broken, repaired, or missing here's your chance at a good one. The pictures tell the story. This is a nice original cast iron magneto gear for a 1 1/2hp John Deere Type E hit and miss gas engine. It is part number E76R and is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. All of the teeth are like new and it almost looks like has never been used. If you need one for a restoration or just for a spare on the shelf, they don't get much nicer than this one. The pictures tell the story. The gear that you receive may not look exactly like the one in the pictures. The part number may be stamped and not raised but it is an authentic, original gear and in perfect condition like the pictured one. Here is a 1 1/2 Lunkenheimer Paragon Oiler. On the top cap it reads. The Lunkenheimer Co. Cin O. Paragon No. 1 1/2 Patented Jan 21,1902. The top glass is 1 3/4" X 1 3/4" The overall condition is good with no chips or cracks on both top and bottom glass, but it does have some minor wrench marks here and there on the oiler. It has brand new gaskets for the top glass. Overall height is 6 1/2" and it has 1/4" connecting threads that are in good shape. Nice oiler to put on your hit and miss engine or to display. IHC LA or LB 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 and 3 -5hp CLUTCH PULLEY GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS
This is an original CLUTCH PULLEY for IHC LA or LB gas engine. It will fit on both the 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hp and the 3 to 5 hp models. Part number on the pulley is 5418-D. It is 10" diameter and the face is 6" Fits on a 1 3/16" shaft. Has some light surface rust on it but was never really rusty. Pulley face is smooth. I do not see any cracks. Breaks, or welds. There are some dings in the metal cover behind the handle. The handle snaps in and out real nice. I picked this up years ago with plans on mounting it on an engine but just never got around to it so its time to move it on. Look at the pictures large sized to get a good look at it.
