This is a rare opprotunity to own a 1920's Central Tractor Centaur made in Greenwich Ohio.It equipped with factory Belt Pulley attachment and Oliver 1 btm plow.This tractor is in great condition for its age and will need TLC to run.Last time it ran was back in 1969 and sat in the shed since.Included is the original manuals for the tractor including the dealership Inspection tags with matching numbers to the New Way engine.Also are Manuals for the 5hp New Way engine.I can tell you there is 1 gas cap missing.This tractor would start on Gas and run on Kerosene.Original Magneto in tact.Also hard to find Handcrank for the belt pulley that was used for grinding corn and a wood saw.This tractor is articulating and steers in the middle.The sulky is original and can be removed to hook up all horse drawn implements.The engine turns with the handcrank ... morebut i havnt tried to get it running.There is still oil in the big drip oiler! 1927-1929 Briggs & Stratton MODEL FH Hit and Miss washing machine gas engine
Up for auction is a Briggs and Stratton Model FH. I only have the parts you see here. This FH is a slant fin block with a pot metal carb of which only about 3.000 were built. From what I understand, Pot slant fins serial numbers ran from about 26437 to 29705, accounting for only a few months of production. The engine is locked up from sitting, but the flywheel still turns, I'm guessing it has no key anymore, but I have not taken anything apart to look. The engine is missing it's shroud and also serial number tag. Before I got it. It was under a work bench for about 40 years. It still has a tag on it from when it was supposedly abandoned in a small engine repair shop decades ago. I bought it intending to restore it. However, I've picked up a project that is going to require more of my attention then I thought. I wish I could describe ... moretheitse better. Unrestored Waterloo Boy hit miss ignitor engine John Deere runs good 2 1/2hp
This is an original un-restored Waterloo Boy engine that was found in a collapsed barn in the Santa Cruz Mountains. It likely was belted to a water pump that was found nearby. The cylinder head has had a very nice braze-over of a frost crack from the old days. And there are no leaks. The repair looks like a complete recovery from a well-earned battle scar. Waterloo Boy Gasoline Engine Co. was sold in 1918 and it's assets and designs became the John Deere Co. The engine is bolted to skid timbers that rest in the engine cart frame rails. The engine on skids can easily be slid off the cart to rest on the ground for solid belt work. Or the belt can be tensioned by staking the cart to ground- owners choice, and a nice option. The cart is made to carry the engine on it's skids. The engine has great compression. Starts easily and is a very ... moresweet/slow runner. The newer fuel tank is galvanized and has no leaks. Taylor Vacuum Hit and Miss Engine.This is an earlier model. There is a Taylor registry and there are right at 100 engines listed,90 of them have a serial number higher than this one(4 digit see photos) I can find no cracks,breaks or repairs except the rocker shows a braze that is very old and is solid. The cylinder seems good with most of the compression going out the exhaust valve.Nothing is stuck but the valves will need attention.The carburetor is there and so is the needle valve.Looks like all the trip parts for the missing Wico are there. Nice Original BIDDLE Hand Held Tachometer Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Dynamo WOW!
This is a real nice original Biddle hand held tachometer in the original case with all of it's accessories. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It was used by a retired maritime inspector for the steam engines on ships of the Great Lakes. It has a working range of 30rpm to 40,000rpm. It has the original instruction sheet with it and everything seems to work as it should. These Biddle tachometers are the gold standard of the industry and are extremely expensive new so don't miss your chance on this nice used one. The pictures tell the story. Old 3 1/2hp Lauson Alpha Hit Miss Gas Engine Antique Motor Steam Tractor WOW
This is a 3 1/2hp John Lauson/Alpha Model W hit and miss gas engine. It is a true hit and miss engine and was built by the John Lauson Company for the DeLaval Dairy Supply Company. It is a restoration project that was started and needs to be finished. It is mostly complete except it is missing the Wico EK magneto as can be seen but these turn up quite frequently here on Ebay. It has the correct hinged cast iron crank guard. The piston and rod are out because the wrist pin came loose at some point and scored the cylinder. The grooves have been JB welded and it needs to be honed back out. The fella that did this had very good luck with this method on several other engines. There is a repair on the detent pivot and on the rocker arm as can be seen. The head has already been repaired. The engine has been repainted at some point in its working ... moreday. It needs some other small generic engine parts like valve springs. Keepers, and some new head studs as three of the originals are twisted off. With a little patience and time this should be a pretty straightforward project. These are very good running engines when they are dialed in. The 3 1/2hp is the largest of the W series and is quite tough to find compared to the 1 1/2 and 2 1/2hp sizes. The pictures tell the story. This is a really neat and rather hard to find original book printed by International Harvester Company in 1920 titled"Internal Combustion Engines and Tractors" It measures about 5 3/4 x 8 3/4 inches and has 176 pages. It is in excellent condition for being nearly a century old other than the minor rodent chewing on the bottom of the front cover! It covers all of the aspects of the early engines in the IHC Titan 10-20 and 15-30 chain drive tractors and also the 8-16 Kerosene tractor. It has chapters on design. Function, classification of parts, fuels, lubrication, requirements, ignition, materials, storing and overhauling, and troubles. It is very detailed and is illustrated very nicely. It has all of the specifications and features of many of the products. It is a great reference book and would be a fine addition to your early engine or agricultural advertising library. Original Hercules Economy Hit Miss Gas Engine Steel Wheeled Cart Steam Tractor
This is a rather hard to find original cart for a 1 or 1 1/2 Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It is in pretty good condition for it's age. It has the original handle. The wheels measure 6 and 6 1/2 inches with a 1 3/4 inch face. The overall width and length of the rails is 9 1/4 x 27 5/8 inches. One of the front wheels has a repair that works alright but isn't the prettiest. It might be a good idea to take the other one which is perfect and have another one cast from it. One rear wheel has a cracked spoke by the hub and the other has two. Both of these would be easy repairs but they work just fine the way they are. This cart originally had a 1 or 1 1/2hp Economy or Hercules engine on it but would work for any engine of the 1-2hp size. This style cart is pretty hard to find in the wild or even at swap meets so don't ... moremiss your chance on it. It would certainly make moving your engine around easier! Some of the chrome has come off and there are scratches and scuffs as well. The box has a thick film of grime on it. The box has some very cool looking original brass latches and the hinges are also made of brass. The center lock on the box does not work but the box holds closed with the latches. There is a crack in the wood along the bottom of the box but the box is very solid. From what I understand this is the first version of this fine engineering instrument so it probably is from the mid 1880's! It includes two geared bits/shafts and one rubber tipped bit/shaft. Original KISSEL Car Truck Radiator Boyce Moto Meter Hartford WI Hit Miss Engine
This is a VERY hard to find original Boyce Moto Meter and radiator cap for a Kissel car or truck made in Hartford. Wisconsin. It is in good condition for it's age. It measures about 5 1/4 inches tall overall and about 3 1/2 inches in diameter at its largest. It fits inside a radiator neck and the threads are about 2 1/2 inches in diameter at their largest. The body of the cap has a chip along one edge as can be seen in the photo. It has some minor fatigue but is not all broken up like many of them that you see. The meter itself is in great shape although I don't think it works. It has some chips of material from the coating on the sight window floating around in it. That is what is seen in the pictures. The KISSEL name is very clean and umblemished and I'm sure if you'd remove the lens cover and blow the chips out it would ... moredisplay very nicely. IHC Type L Magneto for Hit and Miss Gas for parts or repair Type M Engine
Here we have a Type L magneto for a Type M International gas engine. This mag has a crack in one of the magnets. There is also a piece out of one oil hole. The threads in the base have slight damage. But I think they are still sound and usable. The rest of the mag looks pretty good. It is stuck and will need some TLC, but otherwise it is a decent looking magneto and has some very good parts, or would be fixable if you have a magnet. I think it is repairable, but as with all my parts they are sold AS IS due to age. Please see the pictures as they tell the story best. Old Antique Goulds Burrall Cast Iron #2 Corn Sheller Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW!
This is an original BURRALL's corn sheller made by Goulds Manufacturing Company in Seneca Falls. New York. It is the"IMPROVED" version. It is made almost entirely of cast iron. It turns over nicely with mild wear in the bearings and shells corn just fine. It was patented in 1863 and is one of the most unusual and sought after corn shellers by collectors. It is a Number 2 and stands about 43 1/2 inches tall. It needs one minor weld repair and has a slight chip where the cob comes out that I have tried to point out in the pictures. Antique Nash gasoline engine hit and miss brass tag and ad circa 1910
Nice old curved brass Nash engine tag. Measures 7 x 3/12 inches and the old engine ad is an original also from a 1910 magazine. The tag is off a 20 hp engine with 3369 as the serial number. I do not know the age of the tag but it must date to the early 1900's to correspond to the magazine ad. The tag has never been cleaned and has that over 100 year patina. Vintage Small Brass DRIP OILER - Machinery, Stationary Engine, Hit Miss
SMALL DRIP OILER- PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO SEE PHOTOS- Vintage brass oiler in fair to good used condition. Overall height is approximately 4 1/8 inches. An unusual drip tube extends 3 1/4 inches from the side of the bottom fitting. No maker's markings. The spring-loaded fill-hole cover is marked: PATD 3.30.15. Used condition. Fairly clean. Chrome plating is worn and the brass is showing through in places(see photos below) Plating on the top and bottom reservoir caps is scuffed and scratched all-over. The small bottom sight glass tube rattles around. Probably because there is no cork gasket. No evidence that there ever was a gasket in the small lower chamber. Large gaskets are present in the reservior, though old and oil-soaked. Everything turns freely. Should be ready to use. Unusual! Original Field Brundage SATTLEY Hit Miss Gas Engine Crank Guard Shield Steam
This is a a rather hard to find original crank guard. Shield, or fender for a larger Field Brundage model W, Wolverine, or Sattley hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be used on an engine or put on the shelf for a spare. It mounts with two holes that are about 8 3/4 inches apart on center and is part number 200W. I believe this guard will work on a 5 and 6hp engine but please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. These originals hardly ever turn up in the wild or even at swap meets and there's a lot of engines where it has gone missing! If you need one for any reason don't miss your chance on this one. Nice Original AC Magnet Magneto Charger Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor WOW
This is a very hard to find original factory built magnet charger made by the Indiana General Company. It is in excellent original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has the original name tag on it and also nice original paint and the cord is in excellent condition. It measures about 10 inches wide x 5 inches deep and is 8 1/2 inches tall. It was used very recently in the shop of a fella that rebuilt aircraft magnetos and works just the way it should. It is 110 volts AC and works with regular household current so you don't have t mess around with batteries. Original Wico EK Magneto Armature Cover Hit Miss Gas Engine Antique Motor
This is a pretty decent original Wico EK magneto armature cover. These are quite often missing or completely beat up. This one isn't perfect but it's pretty decent and with a little patience I think could be made to look pretty good. It has two dents in the front of it which I think could be straightened out fairly easily. All of the mounting tabs are still on it which is fairly unusual. I don't think anyone reproduces these so take a look at the pictures and decide if you need it. Good luck.

4 Quart Mary Proctor Ice Cream Churn Hit & Miss Engine
This is a Mary Proctor four quart ice cream churn. Has"Triple Action" written on the lid. The canister. Outer paddle and inner paddle all spin in different directions. This churn originally had a hand crank on it that was replaced with a 5" OD v-belt pulley and was hooked to a hit and miss engine. There is a PVC drain valve already installed near the bottom of the bucket. The bottom band on the bucket has been replaced with a hose clamp. There is some damage to the wood around the band that is no more than 1/4 to 1/3 the depth of the wood. This can be easily repaired with wood putty and glue. The inside of the bucket has minimal wear and an extra bottom has been made from some type of plastic plate. I tried to take pictures of all of the key areas that I have described.
