Original IHC MOGUL TITAN Gasoline Tractors Sales Catalog Hit Miss Gas Engine WOW
This is a very hard to find original sales catalog for the early International Harvester Gasoline Tractors. It is from about 1910 and measures about 7 3/4 x 9 3/4 inches and has 32 pages. It shows all of the tractors from 12-20hp and different configurations and features. It also shows the different options and attachments in great detail. It is heavily illustrated and also shows many working photos of the tractors. It is a very classy catalog and has embossed covers both front and back. It is a great reference book and would be a fine addition to your early engine or agricultural advertising library especially if you like the early IHC tractors. It would also look great displayed with your tractor or equipment at the shows. It is in good condition for it's age with no missing pages. I does have some minor wear. Creasing, and staining. ... moreThere is a slight area in the last 14 pages and back cover of rodent chewing. This takes little away from the information but I needed to mention it. It is still very solid and is one of the nicest examples of this catalog that I've owned.I can't imagine that many of these survived the wrath of the wood stove back in the day so don't miss your chance on it. Old TAYLOR VACUUM Hit Miss Gas Engine Wico EK Magneto Bracket Steam Oiler WOW!
This is a real nice original magneto mounting bracket for a Taylor Vacuum hit and miss gas engine. It is in excellent condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It is part number T83 and mounts with two 7/16 holes 2 1/2 inches apart on center. I'm pretty sure it fits all sizes of the Taylor Vacuum but please measure your engine to be sure. It may fit others as well. The spark plug threads are in great shape and it is ready to be used on an engine. If you've been looking for one because your bracket is broken, repaired, or missing, here's your chance. It would also be a good spare on the shelf. The pictures tell the story. Old POWELL Lubricator Hit Miss Gas Gasoline Oil Engine Oiler Sales Catalog BOOK
This auction is for an early Wm. POWELL Lubricating and Oiling Specialties for Gas. Gasoline and Oil Engines sales catalog. It has 14 pages and has some nice illustrations of oilers priming cups, drain cocks, rod oilers and other items. It measures approx. 7 3/4" X 5 3/4" and is in nice condsition, but does have a fold crease across the center. I would guess this is from before 1910 by looking at the engine on the cover. Old FAIRBANKS MORSE ZD Hit Miss Gas Engine Magneto Gear Steam Tractor Oiler NICE
Here is a real nice original diecast magneto gear for a Fairbanks Morse ZD gas engine. It measures about 4 1/2 inches in diameter with a 1/2 inch face. It is 1 1/8 inches long through the hub and has a 3/8 inch tapered hole for the magneto armature shaft and the keyway is in great shape. It has 43 teeth and they are in great shape with very minor wear. This gear has no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind and is ready to be put to work on an engine. This is a reproduction cast aluminum cone type muffler for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These were commonly used on Hercules and Economy engines and several others. They look and work good on any engine they fit on! This one measures about 6 inches in diameter and about 3 inches"deep" It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and they are in perfect shape. This is an original cast iron ball type muffler for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. These were commonly used on Economy engines and several others. Old JOHN DEERE Hit Miss Gas Engine Motor Magneto Body Ignitor Steam Tractor WOW
This is an original body for a John Deere or Associated hit and miss gas engine magneto. It is in used condition and has had one end repaired several years ago but it looks like a good job was done. It looks like epoxy was used and it looks like it would work great the way it is. The rest of the body is in excellent condition and shows no signs of deterioration like most of these bodies do. The mounting holes are in good shape. One has perfect threads in it and the other one has threads that aren't perfect but will hold a bolt just fine. If you have a magneto with a rotten body here's your chance at a much nicer one. I think it will make a nice magneto and once it's on the engine you'll never see the repair! Old FULLER JOHNSON Hit Miss Gas Engine Rotary Magneto Bracket Ignitor Steam NICE
This is a real nice original rotary magneto mounting bracket for a Fuller and Johnson hit and miss gas or throttle governed gas engine. It is part number 2N-190. It mounts the the main bearing studs on about a 3 1/4 inch bolt pattern. It will fit a 3hp N engine and probably fits others as well. Please measure your engine to be sure it fits your application. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It looks like a crack in the platform by the part number but this is actually a casting flaw from the factory. The idler gear is in excellent condition, as well, and has 40 teeth. The magneto mounts with two holes 2 inches apart on center. This bracket is ready to go to work on an engine. RARE FAIRBANKS MORSE HIT AND MISS ENGINE BLOWTORCH
Rare Fairbanks Morse Hit and Miss Engine Blowtorch– This heavy. Quart-size blowtorch was manufactured by the Fairbanks Morse Co. of Chicago, Illinois. The torch has a welded steel tank, steel pump assembly, cast iron drip cup, sheet iron burner windshield, and massive bronze burner. These blowtorches with their vertically-oriented burners were designed to heat the glow bulbs on early stationary engines prior to the incorporation of the spark plug. I have never seen one of these Fairbanks torches with its windshield in place. With its windshield, I think this torch is especially rare. The tank measures 4 1/2 inches in diameter and is almost 5 1/2 inches in height. Total height of the torch is 13 1/2 inches. The marking“YF1214A” Cast into the bottom of the drip cup(see photo#9) is believed to be a part number as this same drip cup is seen on ... moreother Fairbanks torches. The lower left side of the burner is marked“YF1209A” see photo#10) and the left side of the“U-shaped” burner jet is marked“YF1210A” see photo#11) both believed to be Fairbanks part numbers. The applied label soldered to the front of the tank(see photo#12) reads“CAUTION DO NOT USE GASOLINE” and“FAIRBANKS MORSE& CO. As the photos show. The torch has been thoroughly reconditioned and is in excellent condition. The“T-shaped” pressure shutoff/pressure relief valve is free and operable and the pump builds pressure in the tank. This is a rather hard to find original drive pulley for a Pickering or other make of governor. These governors were commonly used on steam engines and some larger gas engines and tractors. It is in excellent used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It measures about 3 1/2 inches in diameter with a 2 3/4 inch pulley machined into it. The face for the belt is about 2 1/8 inches wide. It is about 3 3/4 inches long overall and has a 5/8 inch hole with a set screw to tighten onto the drive shaft of the governor. Hercules Economy 3-12 HP.Webster Magneto Bracket Hit&Miss Old Gas Engine 303K26
Good original Hercules/Economy magneto bracket in very good condition. I believe this bracket is for the Hercules engines from 3-12 HP. Also for the Economy 2 1/2-12 HP"E" The bracket has the part number"303K26" in raised cast letters. I do not see any other letters or numbers on the bracket. Nothing cracked. Broken or repaired. The movable shaft is tight with very little play. The points are in very good shape. This bracket is for a Webster magneto and the mounting holes for the mag are 2 inches center to center x 2 inches center to center. This bracket should have a type K or L Webster magneto. This is a bolt on style cast iron Flat Belt Pulley. Unknown manufacturer It might be for a Hit& Miss type engine or other type of engines& industrial equipment. The flat surface for the belt is 7& 9/16 inches. The diameter is 13& 5/16th, wide. The mounting surface is has a center hole of 8 inches diameter& then the mounting ring which has three bolts@ 7& 7/8th on centerline to centerline. Each bolt hole is 11/16th diameter. Old SANDWICH Pine Tree Milker Hit Miss Gas Engine Fuel Mixer Carb Steam Tractor
This is an extremely hard to find original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Sandwich Pine Tree milker engine. It is in excellent original used condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind except for the cast iron tab on the end of that holds the throttle rod. It has an old farmer fix that has worked more than once! It would also be quite easy to make the cast iron holder to replace the fix. The mixer body is part number V10. The throttle shaft is nice and tight with very little play. The fuel needle is very nice and moves as it should. This mixer mounts to the engine with two 3/8 inch slots on about 2 1/4 inch centers. I can't ever remember seeing another mixer like this for sale so if you need one for your engine or just for a spare on the shelf here it is. The pictures tell the story. It mounts with two 7/16 inch holes about 2 7/8 inches apart on center. I'm pretty sure it is for the Rawleigh Schryer engines 3hp and larger but please do your homework to be sure it fits your applicaton. Everything moves and functions as it should. Old HART PARR Tractor Starting Crank Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Magneto Oiler WOW
This is a very hard to find original cast iron starting crank for a Hart Parr tractor. I believe they were the same on the 12-24 and 18-36 models. It might even be the same on the 28-50. Please do your homework to make sure it works for your application. It is part number 9249 and is fresh from an old farm shop on a farm where several Hart Parr tractors worked for a living back in the day. It's in good condition but someone has built up the two notches that grab the flywheel built up with weld. I'm sure with a little patience and a die grinder these could be dressed up to new condition. The bolt for the handle is bent but could easily be straightened or replaced. This crank could be made perfect in very short order and ready to start a tractor again! Old CARTER BALL Chrysler Carburetor Car Truck Industrial Hit Miss Engine Steam
This is an original Ball and Ball carburetor made for the Chrysler Corporation by the Carter Carburetor Company in St. Louis. Missouri. It is in good used condition with no cracks, breaks, or repairs of any kind that I can see or know of. It is a used takeoff and may need to be rebuilt but was most likely being used before takeoff. It has a 2 1/8 inch intake and a 1 3/8 throat opening where it bolts to the manifold. It mounts with two 7/16 inch holes 2 11/16 inches apart on center. The body measures about 7 inches tall overall. Everything seems to work as it should. The throttle shaft has a bit of wear but will likely work the way it is. It would be easy enough to bush it if you so choose. Original International Harvester IHC Famous Titan Hit Miss Gas Engine Trade Card
This is a pretty nice original and rather hard to find advertising trade card from the International Harvester Company advertising their line of gasoline engines. It is from about 1910 and measures about 3 1/4 x 6 inches tall and is in good condition considering it's a century old! It has some edge wear and creasing but still displays very nicely. The front has a magician on it that shows a vertical engine"growing" out of his magic box. It is missing the little red tab of plastic you look through to see the blue outline of the engine. The back shows their horizontal engine. Says why it is superior to other company's engines, and also has a list of the sizes they offer. This is a very hard to find original advertising token for the Waterloo Boy gasoline engines made in Waterloo. Iowa. It is brass or bronze and is in good condition for being over a century old. It measures about 7/8 inches in diameter and has the Waterloo slogan on one side. It has the good luck swastika along with a wish bone, four leaf clover, horse shoe, and another good luck charm on the back side. It says"membership emblem of the don't worry club" It would be a great addition to your early engine advertising collection or display especially if you like Waterloo engines. Here is a Lunkenheimer Snap Lever Sight Feed Valve. It reads( Lunkenheimer Cin. O. on the side of the body. It is in very good overall condition. But it does have a few wrench marks on the round connector. It measures 4 1/8" long(as pictured) and has 1/4" pipe connecting hook ups. The glass has no chips or cracks that I see. The last picture shows the valve in a 1912 Lunkenheimer catalog. I do have another Lunkenheimer Sight Valve up for sale now. And will ship together if you win both. The item measures about 4-1/8" tall and 4 3/8" with a body diameter of about 1-5/8" top cap is marked"LUNKENHEIMER" and"ROYAL No1" Base thread looks like ½" 18(standard tapered pipe thread) Adjustable flow with positive set lock adjustment screw keeps your setting precise.
