This is a real nice original Webster M-31 magneto for a hit and miss or throttle governed gas engine. It is in good condition but the oiler caps are missing and one oiler hole has a part chipped off. The threads on the bottom are in good condition. This magneto has many applications in the gas engine world. It has the original name band on it. It has almost no noticeable wear in the bearings or on the trip finger. These magnetos are extremely tough to find in the wild or even at swap meets. It would even make a great spare on the shelf. I never new it had so much brass! It appears to be complete except for the oil fill hole caps as can be seen in the pictures. The Brass Name Tag! Brass bottom, brass body and even brass balls on the governor! This spins freely by hand. It appears to have a little bit of bearing wear. This offering is for what looks to be a New old Stock tank top plate but in reality it is a used part. Its just been cleaned up. The cleaned up ones like pictured are Sand Blasted NOT bead blasted. Sand Blasting is a superior method of cleaning and prep for paint or sealing over Bead Blasting in this case. And if you doubt that just ask I will tell you why. Old Detroit Brass Carburetor Dodge Chevy Hit Miss Gas Engine Steam Tractor Oiler
This is a pretty nice original Detroit brass carburetor for an early car or truck. I believe it was used on Dodge Brothers but may have several other applications as well. It seems to be in pretty good shape with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs. The throttle shaft is stuck and the butterfly is bent but this should be fairly easy to remedy. It is missing the cover on the float chamber. The carburetor has a 1 5/8 inch air intake and a 1 inch opening at the throttle shaft. It mounts with a flange with four holes on a 7/8 x 3 inch rectangular bolt pattern. The mounting body is cast iron but the entire body of the carburetor is brass. All in all this is a pretty nice original carburetor found in the workshop of an early car collector. The pictures tell the story. You'll like it. Good Luck.

This is an original fuel mixer or carburetor for a Hercules or Economy hit and miss gas engine. It is in good condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has 3/4 inch pipe threads and I believe it is for a 1 1/2 and possibly a 3hp engine but measure your engine to be sure. It is missing the fuel needle which can be obtained quite inexpensively from several of the hobby suppliers. The choke plate moves as it should. The pipe nipple in the mixer may need to be replaced as it looks to be bent but this would be pretty easy to do. These mixers don't turn up very often and this one just needs a little elbow grease to be perfect. The pictures tell the story. If you need one here it is. Good Luck.

This is a very hard to find original brass automatic greaser for the connecting rod bearing on a hit and miss gas engine. I'm pretty sure it was factory equipment on the Sparta Economy and early Evansville built Economy and Hercules engines. I've had a couple untouched original engines that both had these greasers on the connecting rod. This one measures about 1 3/16 inches in diameter at its widest and about 2 3/8 inches tall. It has 1/8 inch pipe threads that are in excellent conditon. It has a 00 stamped on a flat of the hex. It is in great condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. It has some blemishes on the knurling but this could be remedied if you so choose. Old Original Otto Hit Miss Gas Engine Glass Battery Steam Tractor Magneto NICE!!
This is an extremely rare original Otto glass carbon/acid liquid battery. It is in very good original condition with no cracks. Breaks, or repairs of any kind. The only flaw that I've noted is the electrode that went in the insulator has corroded away over time. The insulator is missing. The battery measures about 4 inches in diameter and 8 1/2 inches tall. The glass jar is in excellent condition with the common imperfections that are usually found in 1800's glass. The carbon is in great shape. These were used as the electrical supply for ignition on the earliest hit and miss gas engines among other things. It is very rare to find one with the OTTO name on it and I can't imagine that there's many survivors! ANTIQUE 1929 MAYTAG RESTORED 92 GAS ENGINE HIT AND MISS WRINGER WASHER
Up for bid is a very nice Maytag Model 92 Antique hit miss Gas Engine. The flywheel has serial# 405411 stamped on it which was in production in October 1- December 30. 1929. I have been restoring these engines for over 10 years now and I sell a lot of them. I also used to restore Maytag ringer washers and put Maytag motor's on them as well. This engine was completely taken apart and sand blasted and bead blasted clean and painted with DuPont Maytag original color code. I take a lot of pride in these motors and I like to do a little extra detailing like the lettering and some of the numbers as you can see in the pictures, I think it makes the motor's stand out better. As you can see this engine is complete and not missing any parts such as the pulley or air cleaner or kill switch. It has new rings, condenser, spark plug wire with new ... moreends, new spark plug, caution plate and kill switch. I also honed out the Cylinder jug. Magnet ring was recharged as well and throws a real nice hot spark. This engine has been restored and freshly painted and the tank and top plate was sealed so it will not rust again. I do not paint the flywheels like some people. After putting it all back together I ran 1 tank of fuel through it and it runs just fine. Detailing with the correct decals finished it. The kick gear has been welded and repaired it is normal for this model to do so. I cannot put a warranty on these motors do to the age of them BUT I will guarantee it will run great for you when you get it and keep running well. I have sold a lot of motors and washers and never had a complaint yet. My friend deals in Maytag motor parts and he took the carburetor apart cleaned and rebuilt it and also rebuilt the ignition plate putting a new condenser on. He also takes pride with his work. All it needs now is fuel and you can start it with your hand, it is that easy to start. The buyer agrees to pay an extra $35.00 packing fee. I believe this is a Dain John Deere cement mixer but I am not sure? So you be the judge. It is in very good usable shape. The drum is solid and clean with no cement residue. It is not rotted. It spins very freely and appears ready to use or display. one of the riveted bracing straps has some bending but easily straightened. The last picture shows this. The magazines in this lot are 4 1979 issues. 3 1981 issues, 5 1982 issues, 3 1983 issues.and 4 1985 issues. Magazines are in good shape except one issue in 1982 is torn on front. See photo. I did not check every page but just by thumbing through them I found no tears( except one noted) or missing pages. A couple of them have some writing on front. A Vintage Wilesco Toy Steam Engine in"as found" condition. This piece was recently acquired from a large collection. It has not been tested but provided are plenty of photos for you to determine the condition. It turns freely and has a little fuel tray inside. The bottom of the tray is marked"DP390702" This is a nice looking engine that appears to be complete. It shows just a little oxidation on top. With some tinkering could possibly run. It rests on an 8" x 6" platform and 9" to the top of the smokestack. Overall. A great little for the collection! Check out our other auctions for more of these great early steam engine toys! It is identified as"series C105-1930" It shows various applications and gives a narrative of how and why this is the best engine available for 1930 applications. It shows an engine section with numbered parts and descriptions. This is an original issue and not a reproduction or reprint. The paper measures 8 1/4 x 10 inches folded. It is soft paper with some folds and wrinkles. There are no tears and the center fold is strong. There is one small hole at the very top margin. There is a penny sized stain on part of the text. There are a couple of small spots where something spilled in small droplets and left dots of residue. I removed one dot successfully and I'll let you do the rest. flat pulley belt clutch parts for 1929 NOVO RU Rollr Hit and Miss engine steam
Up for sale is this Pulley/clutch. I believe it is from the NOVO RU that I also have for sale. You get what you see in the photos. The pulley is 7 inch diameter and 8.25 inch wide and the shaft for the pulley looks to be 1 3/8 inches. The clutch housing is about 12.25 outer diameter. The flywheel that comes from the main drive shaft is in the last few photos. If you just want the pulley I can ship it for less. But the total weight of every thing here is 100 lbs.
