The University of Guelph in Canada has the PURE BELTSVILLE WHITE turkeys also. I acquired another non related tom in 2012.These toms has made the genes in my Beltsville flock much stronger. Adult toms average 22 lb. Hens 12.lbs. They are very disease resistant and reproduce quite well in pens or open range. I am a licensed NPIP inspector for the State of Illinois#1014 and I can assure you this flock is clean. The Beltsville were developed by the USDA in Beltsville. Maryland back in the 1950's.
