TTL and 600 ohm adjustable outputs both look great. Unit is absolutely clean inside and out, and plastic case is in good shape. There are a few minor exterior flaws: original plastic handle and one rubber foot are missing, and there is a discoloured rectangle on top of unit where a sticker was once affixed. Dayton Inverter Generator for repair 500 Watt needs carburetor fix Honda EU1000
Offered without reserve is a 2W512A Dayton 500 Watt Inverter camping Generator that I have owned for about 5 years. I think it dates to the early 1980's era, it produces around 500 watts of power. This has an alternator with an inverter to convert the power to 110v, I think that it is similar in concept to the Honda EU1000i but is probably a bit smaller in size and output. The generator measures approx. 11" tall, 15" long and it is 8" wide, it weights about 35 lb. When first purchased it at an estate sale it would not run correctly so I brought to our local small engine mechanic. He told replaced the fuel lines and said that they had turned to gum, he also rebuilt the carburetor. It started easy and ran great when I got it back, it has a quiet running engine. We have a whole house size generator but I kept this one around ... morejust in case but it has not been used over the past 5 years at all. I neglected to drain the fuel(it requires mixed fuel like a chainsaw) and it turned stale. Last week I emptied the tank and re filled with fresh fuel and it started after a prime through the spark hole but it fails to continue running. I am quite sure that it needs a carburetor rebuild and it may need the fuel lines replaced again, the electrical generating system still works(I saw the light illuminate during the short primer induced run time) I know this may not be for everyone but thought that someone out there may be handy with engines, I am sure that it can be made to run again in the right hands. Our local small engine mechanic is no longer alive and I do not have the motivation or time to get this running, it is offered for parts or repair, hopefully someone can put it to good use.No Reserve! have fun bidding! General Industry Technology Description for this type of product. The beam blanking and pulsing option requires a blanker plate assembly built into the Electron Gun and an additional blanker supply unit in the main Power Supply. Beam blanking deflects the electron beam into a beam trap on the side of the gun tube. So that the flow of electrons to the target is interrupted without actually turning off the beam. A sufficiently large negative voltage on the plate opposite the angled plates will push the electrons into the trap. The deflecting voltage applied to the blanker in the gun is controlled on the EGPS Power Supply. The blanker voltage required to blank the beam depends ... moreon the gun configuration and on the beam energy. Blanking is useful for guns which can not be cut off by means of the grid due to high current or gun geometry. Blanking can be used to pulse the final beam current repeatedly on and off.
