Fluke 87-III digital multimeter in very good shape( 87-3 DMM) Up for auction is an example of the famous digital multimeter. The Fluke 87-3. When I say famous I mean this is the Fluke multimeter that makes your Extech using friend green and orange with envy. This particular unit hasn’t actually met anyone famous(that I’m aware of) but don’t hold that against it. Really. What’s more important, a meter that’s only two degrees from Kevin Bacon or a meter that delivers the rugged good looks of a Fluke 87-3? Now this meter isn’t new out of the box. The case does have a few spots that show it’s done something with its life. But it hasn’t done too much. The two expensive fuses are both good. As a younger version of the Fluke 87-3 family it has the white/blue backlight instead of the green used in earlier versions. That’s better for all sorts of ... moreobvious reasons. Some sellers of Fluke meters will brag that they include not only the test leads but a BATTERY as well. Well I’m willing to match them. I will also include not only the Fluke OEM test leads(no crummy aftermarket leads here! but a battery. Yes. You too can buy this meter to get a USED 9V battery. So let’s sum this up. You get: A Fluke 87-3 meter in very good but not brand new condition. A pair of Fluke test leads also in very good but not brand new condition. A Fluke 87-3 protective case in a bit less than not brand new condition but still good. A 9V battery in likely a good bit less than new but not dead condition! If you really want I can print a copy of the PDF manual available from Fluke and include that as well. If not I will save the trees. What about shipping? Well it’s free.
