When I say famous I mean this is the Fluke multimeter that makes your Extech using friend green and orange with envy. This particular unit was on the moon with Armstrong and helped negotiate a peace deal in central America. When it’s not living the jet set lifestyle and impressing shallow Hollywood types it’s safely delivering quality measurements and readings. When I say quality I refer to not only its quality looks and feel(the thing that draws the starlets to this meter) but accurate results for voltages. Vintage. Antique whale harpoon. I got this at an estate sale from a home that is part of the old historic district in Woodland, CA. I am not sure if its age, but I know it is fairly old and I believe it came from the east coast from what I was told. It measures 85" long. The diameter of the solid wood handle is 1 7/8" Weighs between 4& 5 pounds. The hook at the end tilts 90 degrees; I believe that this is called a double fluke. I believe the shaft and the fluke are steel but I'm not positive. Nice. Hand tying work on the ropes. Condition: Has a few marks. Nicks and scrapes but overall in solid condition.
