Antique Obrien's "Self closing Till" Cash Register
Unrestored. Believed to be in original condition. I'm no expert on these so I don't know if it is in working order or not. The bell rings when you close the drawer is all I can say. Nice original label on the inside. Dovetailed at the corners. With what appears to be the original peg. Again I'm no expert. lots of wear and tear. Largish scratch on top of device. National Cash Register/ NCR#336 BRASS Cash Register#799574 Excellent Condition This register has not been refurbished in any way- all original This cash register was made in late on January 19. 1910 in Dayton OH according to NCR records. The register spent its entire life in the upstate New York area. Around the Mechanicville- Clifton Park area. Everything appears complete on the cash register. All the keys are complete and work fine. The"till' itself operates as it should. The glass on top appears original and is in great shape The marble is in good condition The wood base appears original and is in good condition. The front of the register opens up above the keys to show a customer counter. A"no sale" counter and a cash tally for what was taken in to the store. The register itself measures 19"wide. 16" deep, ... more17" high. There are 5 keys that go with the register. Again. The register is in great shape for being over 100 years old. Awesome lot of 13 OVAL glass cash register keys. I am not sure if these are off a national or remington cash register as it had labels from both on the machine. They measure approximately 7/8" tall by 5/8" wide. How fun would these be to make into a great milemarker gifts- every decade 10-90! You also have a nice vivid red"5" and orange"no sale" as well as black& white $1 and $2 keys. The backs are not perfectly flat and may need just a little more flattening and the rings/edges while perfectly solid could use a little more cleaning up. It also locked the front door as it is suppose to when a coin was inserted. It says made in Japan on the back and the paint is in amazingl condition. Here is a 1940's/50's era lighted cash register sign for Miller High Life beer. This beer is brewed by the Miller Brewing co of Milwaukee. Wisconsin. This top condition metal and glas sign measures 8" long by 9-1/2" tall. The base and back are all metal. The Miller Girl is celluliod and the angle logo is glass. There are 3 legs under the sign to mount in on top of a cash register. the back one is adjustable. There is an on/off switch on the back side. The cord is in great condition. The sign was made by the Thomas A Schlutz co. of Chicago, Illinois. This is not one you will see very often anymore! It is in proper working order. There is some light overall wear only. Light works and looks great. Measures about 9.25" at the tallest spot and not quite 8" across and about 3" deep. The cord has only 2 prongs instead of the usual 3. Miller High Life plaque reads"Miller Brewing Co. Milwaukee, Wis" and"Made in U.S.A. Form 202" on the bottom. Girl in the moon in circle underneath plaque. The bottom of the stand has a metal banner that reads"the champagne of bottle beer" Gold trim in good shape, shiny but could use a good cleaning. The National Cash Register Co. NCR) Vintage Sign 42" Long Sign measures 42" long and 4 1/4" tall. Made of a lucite type material with applied letters. I purchased from a NCR collectors estate sale and the information I was able to obtain that it came from the lobby of one of the National Cash Register Co. buildings in Dayton, Ohio and that it dates to the 1940s. Condition Very Good Plus. The only flaw that I see is that part of the top of the first A in national is missing(can be seen in my pix)

This is a 1943 NCR cash register with a sticker on the inside of the drawer saying so. It was made in Dayton. Ohio. It is definitely a fixer upper but these are very hard to find. The buttons work, it opens up fine but I do not have the keys. The marble shelf is cracked as you can see but the insides are in fine working order. Let’s just call it vintage J It is in fantastic condition– just a bit of dust but no oxidation(I took care of my things JJ) and just a few scratches around the flat head screw holding it together– I’m sure that was my brother. It has"Junior" near the top and"CASH" where the drawer would be. Also has"keys" that say. 5" 10" 25" and"50" Time for a new good home with a collector who will care for it for the next 50 some-odd years! There are even a few pennies in there.
