I'm told that the ugly orange/yellow power cord is the original cord. You can see it had a varnish or gold wash that has been rubbed thin/off by the janitor. It still has some on the corners, but 80-90% gone. A few nicks/scratches here and there and the glass has been cracked in half and glued back together alone with a couple of chips. See the photos, you need more, let me know. I don't have the blub or even know what it looks like. There's someone on eBay with the replacement glass, but I'm digging this the way it is. The 3 inch Mercury candlesticks were produced by the Heisey Company from 1926 to 1957. They have a simple design with the striated ball forming the central column as the most distinct design element. The base is 4 3/4 inches in diameter. They are in very good condition. One of them has a very tiny nick on the edge of the base, and there is some minor scuffing on the bottom of base from use and age. They are quite stunning.

This is a stunning pair of candleholders. The Mercury pattern is relatively simple with the column consisting of a striated ball the distinctive feature. This pattern was produced by Heisey from 1926 to 1957. They are 3 inches tall and the base is 4 3/4 inches in diameter They are not marked. One of them has a flaw on top of the base just below the column which appears to be a result of the production of the piece. On the same piece there is a spot on the edge that might indicate a very small nick has been polished. It is only evident with very close inspection. Top East-3 NOTE: I have 20 of these displays to list. They all hung in my office until recently when I moved. At that time I wrapped them all in shrink wrap as you can see in the photos. If you are serious I'll be happy to unwrap them for new photos. See photos for condition. Measures approximately 17 X 23 tall. Severe fading. This is a cardboard display with plastic lenses. As you can imagine the cardboard is very fragile however they display well. Cool old original piece. Not one commonly seen. Item shows wear consistent with age. All I've done is wipe the dust off. This was manufactured by the Tube Light Engineering Company of New York City The tube was used as Vassar College to teach physics to student. This is a very old tube. I can only guess somewhere around the turn of the century. This one contains Argon and Mercury gas Tube has been tested and is working. It takes about 2000 to 3000 Volts to make the tube fire off. VINTAGE TALL MIROSTAR 3 LIGHT GRADUATED CHRISTMAS CANDOLIER ANGELS MERCURY GLASS. Wire mesh covering. Beautiful vintage electric candle set. My research indicates this is by Mirostar. There are no makers marks on the item. three tiered graduated candles. The tallest is 18, then about 15, and 12 inches(with the lights) lights show some loss of finish to the color, but can be easily replaced. the candles are on a wire base platform. And then placed on a styrofoam block which is also covered in the mesh materials, two angels on each side, also with the same mesh, one angel has a halo of mercury glass balls, the other angels halo is missing. plastic holly leaves in the center, and gold tone paper like leaves surround the design. Overall in good condition. One angel wing, flops back now and doesn't stand rigid, pipe cleaner arms on the two ... moreangel figures. Candelabra is in working condition. The tip of a few leaves are about to bend off, may do so in shipping, but you can easily replace with one of the extra leaves wired to the back of the design.
