The bottom of the tin says General Food Corporation. Box LCR 24, White Plains. NY 10625. The tin is unopened and full of syrup. There is a little wear on the red cap. This is a nice display piece. Vintage Brown Glass Log Cabin Syrup Bottle wLid 1776 Bicentennial Cornucopia
This vintage brown glass Log Cabin Syrup bottle has an embossed corucopia filled with fruit and 1776 on one side. 1776 on the other and Log Cabin Syrup with a log cabin on the bottom. This bottle stands 8 1/4" tall. It has it's original metal screw top lid with a faux wood pattern. I believe this was a BiCentennial edition. The bottle is in good pre-owned condition with no chips, breaks or cracks. The metal lid is in good condition with no dings or corrosion. It twists on and off readily. Who is excited about the idea of her long-saved Bicentennial amber glass Log Cabin bottle going on auction( and my father-in-law is also excited at the idea that it will finally be out of the garage. So please let's make both of them happy) She purchased it in 1976. It is 8.5" tall. 4.5" wide and 2.5" deep. It has the Log Cab in and the other markings on the bottom. But no paper label and no top. I cannot find any information about the maker but can say that the piece certainly appears to be quite old. Condition is good overall although the petals are a bit'nibbled' in places and some fine crazing is present. The other piece has no maker's mark and petals/ leaves all seem to be pretty much intact. There could be one or two chips at the tips but I have found it very difficult to tell with this piece- please take a look at the images. This Water Pitcher is a beautiful example of the pattern, done in a crystal clear glass with extremely nice pattern detail. Any bright or dark areas you see in my pics are just sunlight glare or shadows. The glass is clear and bright throughout. I have included a close-up pic, 8, of the bottom of the pitcher. The line you see across the bottom is a shear mark from the manufacturing process. Look closely to the right of the shear mark and you will see another line. I have looked at it with a loop, but can not determine whether this is another shear mark or an anneling crack. Regardless, it does not affect the integrity of the pitcher and should be of little concern on a piece of this rarity. You are bidding on a"Cut Log" pattern miniature creamer. It measures 3" tall by 2 1/2" across the top. There are no chips or cracks. There appears to be a couple of very tiny air bubble flaws on the top edge. This is some sign of slight wear on some of the bumps of the pattern. But not bad. As I understand it. It was made by the Bryce. Higbee& Company in 1889 or the Westmoreland Specialty Glass Company in 1896. A very cute piece in a harder to find size.

North Carolina Log Cabin Multi-color 6 1/2" Vase Due to Log Cabins pottery's short existence. A limited number of pieces of pottery where made. Offered is a 6 1/2" vase with a green, blue and cream glaze, possibly attributed to Jonah Owen. The vase has the incised cabin mark indicating that it was made by Log Cabin Pottery. Possible dates of production are from the late 1920's to the early 1930's. The vase is in overall excellent condition, with no chips or cracks.
