Original US Army Vietnam War 82nd Airborne Division Issued& Maintained T-10 24 Foot Reserve Parachute Chest Pack(with parachute of course! Sold As-Is Impossible to Upgrade. Don't Miss It. This T-10 reserve parachute comes from the estate of a Vietnam War era veteran(I could not find out if he served in Vietnam. There was no family present at the estate, but he was in the 82nd Airborne sometime during that time period(1968 to 1972) The manufacture date on the reserve parachute pack is 1951. The manufacturer is Reliance Manufacturing Company. It has a re-issue date of 1961. It is white nylon silk(I peeked)The US Army parachute pack/re-pack log is attached by some cotton twine to the front of the parachute pack under the flap and has its own little pocket it resides in. This booklet has 2 pages filled out with dates from 1969 through ... more1971. The front of the packing record booklet is marked in ink Oct. 1961. All entries are marked for the 82nd Airborne Division so that provenance is verified by the Log Book! Condition Notes: The T-10 parachute pack is in fine+ condition and actually near excellent in most respects. Except for a rip in the bag where the one end of the top carry strap attaches to the bag on the backside where the hooks are(12th photo) This is the best reserve parachute example I have seen on eBay in a very long time and this item came from a Vietnam vet's estate- 82nd Airborne! I will give this veteran's name to the winning bidder. His service with the 82nd beginning around 1968 or 1969 time frame. He passed away a little over a year ago. This T-10 reserve parachute pack is being sold strictly as-is. There are 12 photos to explicitly show the condition that is described above. I have more photos than I could post.including more of the Log Book. Please ask questions and request photos well before the end of the auction. This parachute is not a reproduction. This is a NYPD Command Log[Blotter] for the 32 Pct. in Harlem when the Pct was located at 313 W 136th. St. Harlem, NY. It covers the period from Sept 15. 1930 to Oct 25, 1930. It is an exceptional piece of history since it lists an off duty incident at the Lenox Club and an officer discharging his weapon. The Lenox Club was located at 652 Lenox Ave in Harlem and was also known as the Breakfast Club. It was next to the Cotton Club on the corner of 145th St and Lenox Ave. Within the pages are all the details of the precinct operations. This is the yearbook for the USS Ticonderoga's 1963 far eastern cruise. The aircraft carrier. Part of Carrier Air Group 5, departed on January 3rd, and visited Hawaii, Japan, the Philippines and Hong Kong before returning in July. This book, a 300 page, oversize(10.5"x13" hardcover issued by the United States Navy to the members of the crew, documents the voyage with many photos(some in color) taken along the way of the crew and the sites they visited. Each crew member has an individual photo. The book is in good condition. The blue cloth cover is fraying at the corners, and has a couple creases on the spine.
