The figure has a squeegee held in one foot and there may have been something in George's left hand but that is missing if there was something. Vintage LUDWIG Cup WASHER, 'Chicago USA', 15/16" Diameter, Excellent Shape, NR.
This auction is for an old chrome Ludwig Washer that's in great shape. I think it looks better in person than it does in the pictures. I'm not sure what it's for or what it originally came on and I can't find another one like it on Ebay. I found a couple that were similar. But they all had smaller holes in the center than this one. This measures almost an Inch in Diameter.I got 15/16" exactly. The Hole in the center is 1/2" in Diameter and the it's an 1/8" Tall if you lay it flat on a table. You can see in the picture that it has a bigger diameter than a Nickel. I guess it would be considered a cup washer. But the cup on it is pretty shallow.around a 1/16" of an inch. There's a stamping/engraving on the front of it and it says: LUDWIG DRUM CO. CHICAGO. U.S.A. I don't know if this was for a stand ... moreor a tom mount. Rare Antique Japanese Porcelain Arita Imari Sake Cup Washer Haisen/ Hizen Signed
A rare antique Japanese porcelain Arita Imari sake cup washer(Haisen/Hizen) decorated in underglaze blue and dating. We believe from the 19th century. The Haisen has an unusual shape at the edge. The body of the Haisen is hand painted with a watery landscape to the inside of the bowl with a simple line design around the inside edge. The bowl is decorated in underglaze blue and was used during ceremonial parties where sake cups were washed between use and passed on from guest to guest. The Haisen is marked. Diameter 17 centimeters height 7.5 centimeters.

RARE ANTIQUE JAPANESE ARITA IMARI PORCELAIN HAISEN SAKE CUP WASHER 18TH C Diameter of bowl just over 6.5 inches. Height of dish 4.5 inches. A rare antique Japanese porcelain Arita Imari sake cup washer(Haisen) decorated in underglaze blue and dating. We believe from the 18th century. The Haisen stands raised on a cylindrical pedestal foot and is of rounded shape. The body of the Haisen is hand painted flowers and butterflies and with a simple line design around the inside edge. The outer edge is painted with fruiting vines with a key pattern around the foot. The bowl is decorated in underglaze blue and was used during ceremonial parties where sake cups were washed between use and passed on from guest to guest. The Haisen is not marked.
