Hello Everyone. This listing is to offer a Kenwood DSP-100 Digital Signal Processor for auction. As described in some of the web search I found. This unit is an accessory, typically for use with radios for noise reduction and signal enhancement. Some of the literature mentions the DSP-100 can be interfaced with the Kenwood TS-850. The DSP-100 also plugs into the left panel of the TS-450S/690S. Physical: 10.6 x 2 x 11.5 inches. Operates from 120 VAC. The DSP-100 rear panel provides jacks for simple plug in connection to the transceiver via a not included cable set. This unit might also interface with other Kenwood transceiver models and possibly other transceiver brands(and models) This unit was part of what I assume was an entire Amateur Radio Station that was mostly recovered from an electronic equipment recycling facility just short of ... moremaking the crusher. Everything recovered from the equipment lot has worked as expected although I'm selling everything(from this lot) as parts only. The recycling facility copper wire nuts cut the AC Power Cord off before I got there to buy everything. So there's only an inch or two of the original cord still leaving the unit. You could install a proper type of AC Plug/Jack on the existing short splice or easily replace the entire(2-wire) AC line cord. This unit is used. Being sold as-is for parts and is cosmetically not a 10. Once you clean it up, my opinion is that its an easy 5 to 7 out of 10, depending on how Type-A you really shouldn't be. All the knobs and buttons travel through their positions as expected and less the scuffs/scratches. There are no bad hatchet marks on the unit.
