Great HP network analyzer. Runs from 300kHz-3GHz. I took several pictures of transmission measurements that I made with a power divider. The base line of the instrument is excellent. Good to +/0.2dB. Isolation appears better than 70dB. One of the pictures shows the response of a 75MHz high-pass filter. This unit is compatible with the 85046A/B s-parameter test sets and the 85044A/B transmission/reflection set. You can make many measurements with just a power divider and directional coupler. Or transmission measurements with just the analyzer. The tag on the front of the unit says it is an 8753A. But the unit identifies itself as an 8753B with option 6. I don't know what this means, but all the functions work. Unit is in good shape and has a nice and bright display that is just slightly out of focus. Auction is for the unit only. Aeroflex IFR A7550 Spectrum Analyzer WORKING BUT NEEDS A MAJOR TUNE UP
I have owned this for the last 15 years It works for the most part but needs a major tune up. I took the batteries out and put a fan in its place to cool the machine. The 10 mhz crystal is off and will need to be replaced I don't know where to find them It has spent most its life unplugged or powered down when not being used. Comes with a pdf of the maintenance book for it also. Should you have questions ask I will have answers. Will include insurance and enough bubbles to be insurance claim eligible. Plan on spending some time tweaking this to make it run like new again I do not have the time or space for this project. In case the picture didn't show it there is a small crack in the front plastic but its very minor. Last thing if you don't know what this does you probably don't need one of these.

Has old calibration sticker on it that says calibration last done 11-15-94. I don't know how to test this piece of equipment, but powered it up and it seemed to power up okay. Had an OUT OF LOCK and RCV DATA INV light illuminate. Also illuminated the BIT ERROR, CARR LOSS and BLOCK ERROR lights. A LOSS OF DATA light lit up on the panel and the number 1 continuously lit up and extinguished repeatedly at the right hand end of the panel.
