Meili SM-5005 500Mhz Spectrum Analyzer
The unit blew a fuse while I was using it.I disconnected the power supply from all of the internal components and it still blows fuses. So the problem appears to be in the power supply. The unit is also sold as an Atten AT5005 and a Hameg HM5005. The manuals for these units appear to apply to the Meili SM-5005. I do not have a manual. I cut the hole in the top of the cabinet in order to remove the unit from the cabinet. The cabinet was dented by the handle and the fit was so tight. The chassis would not slide out of the cabinet. Other than that hole, it is in decent cosmetic condition. No manual or cables are included. Only what is shown in the pictures. As it is the unit does not work and will require repair. Up for auction is a used Omnimark model M2 moisture and solids analyzer. Tag on the back shows it to be made by Denver Instruments which is a very good analytical equipment producer. This instrument is supposed to be in working condition. It was decommissioned 2 years ago when it was replaced by NIR instruments for time saving purposes. It is past its 8 day required weight calibration, that is the message on the bottom of the screen. It would probably be beneficial to send it in to have preventive maintenance done. 25g weights will need to be purchased to calibrate.
