High quality stainless steel. The only piece that is not stainless steel is the conduit curved piece that is easily removed. These were built to hospital standards for holding various electronics. Switches, and pumps. The actual box dimensions are 7 1/8" X 6" X 3 3/4" and the cable side channel run is an additional 2" making the 6" width 8" overall. The top is held on by two screws which attach to the inside mounting plate. The mounting plate is fastened with two bolts so it could be removed or refit. The electrical plug connections are fastened with two screws each so they can be quickly removed or changed to your own needs. This enclosure i have had in my basement for about 10 years. its not rusty its just dirty and needs to be cleaned. the electrician cut a few holes in the front door for buttons and made a mistake and had to start over with a new box. a used sheet of stainless was welded over the inside of the front door and the holes were filled in. front door is a little warped from the heat but will seal tight.
