Here is a wonderful rustic mid-century wall mount magazine rack- perfect to use for so many other purposes too- to hold letters. Rolled towels in your bathroom- the possibilities are limited to your imagination! It is made of steel wire, and has a gold finish that is shabby worn. You can see that the gold finish is worn down to the steel in spots all over- especially on the inside bottom as I'm showing in my close ups- and there's light surface rust where the metal is exposed. I love it rustic like it is, but you could easily paint if that's ... morenot for you. It measures 13" widest at the back, 11" widest at the front, 12 3/8" tall at the back, 8 3/4" tall at the front, and it's 5" deep from the back, to the front which is angled in order to hold the magazines. It weighs 1 lb. It has two mounting holes at the back and is in excellent solid and sturdy condition structurally- aside from the finish wear, no other issues. On the other side of the cast iron elbow is stamped(which the first letter is hard to read) either MALLD, HALLD, or WALLD? This is a very heavy& beautifully made lamp. This is from an estate and was originally collected to hook to a 70's era Jukebox but the project was later abandoned. A key is included and it does open to reveal the"innerds" as well as dust and cobwebs. I taped the key to the back of the unit after taking all of the pictures so it would not get lost. It is in great condition for it's age with a few scratches and one small split in the plastic face(see pictures 3 and 9 for the split) Th e face also has one long hairline crack that run s semi-diagonally from the"o" in Meadow through the"d" in Gold down to the"r" in Cream. But it is very hard to notice. I almost didn't catch it. Vintage Wrought Iron Wall Mount Ceramic Tile Holder House Number Holder Now here's something that you don't see everyday! Especially around here- I think of these more with Spanish style houses. What I have is a vintage. Wrought iron holder. Made with the intention of mounting on the way, and to hold ceramic tile house numbers. You could do the same, or fill it with decorative ceramic tiles, or any other tile shaped material for that matter. It measures 17" wide in total and 12 1/2" tall top to bottom. The top has a bar that runs across the back through which you insert your tile. You can see there's a"shelf" for lack of a better word, that the tiles with then rest on. Measuring on the inside walls of the spot where you'd insert the tiles, the opening where you insert the tiles measures 12 1/4" wide ... moreby 6 1/8" tall, and is 1/16" over 1/2" deep(so a smidge over 1/2" deep- you'd be o.k. with a tile that is 1/2" thick or less) The opening of the frame alone(see what I'm pointing to in photo 18) is 11" by 5" so that's how much would show. Please compare my measurements to your tiles to make sure they will fit. It weighs 3 1/2 lbs. It is in excellent solid and sturdy condition. There's small spots of wear, scratching and scraping to the black finish, and light surface rust at those spots- it's surface only. Now, there's no holes for mounting on the wall, I was told that you hang by mounting the iron frame's curly-cues on screws in the wall. I took one look at it, and knew I'd have a customer who could use it- it's a nice vintage frame. Please ask if you have any questions. It features a back-plate with four fixing holes. Whilst the organic arm swivels on a pivot from it. The bobeche has a number of small dents. See pics, but this superb candleholder is in wonderful condition for its great age. Although it has been cleaned at some time in the dim, distant past, it was long enough ago for it to have re-developed most of its original patina. The backplate is 3 3/8" high by 2" wide. Vintage STIMPSON Scale Bracket Heavy Cast Iron Meat Hook Wall Mount Antique Rare
The pictures speak for themselves. I admit that I know little about this old STIMSON Wall Mount Scale Bracket. And that's after having it for several years. Moving it& tripping over it a half a dozen times. In my internet research I could only find 1 more like it. It was complete, dated 1928& was called a Meat Hook Scale. I had intentions too make a tool rack for my log furniture tools but that is probably not going to happen. I cannot say the two pieces go together but they were together when I bought them. The total length of the steel pipe is 29 1/2" and the cast iron wall mount is 21" and weights 31 lbs 12 oz. The scale bar? is brass& 28 1/4" long. It weights 7 lbs 9 oz. They weight 40 lbs total. This was made as America was recovering from the Civil War- around the 1880s- long before Starbucks hired its first Barista. Before Juan Valdez descended the Columbian mountains to be on TV, and before Mrs. Olsen offered her cup of good-to-the-last-drop java. I've had this unit since it was new. Selling now simply because it is not used and it's far to great a system to just sit around! When last used. Everything was in working order. However, it appears now that the tape player is not working. It clicks and responds exactly as it should but does not turn. That tells me that there is simply a belt that needs to be replaced on the tape player. It is a job that you can do yourself. If I was going to keep it, I would.
