Step 3 - Hold the bottle at a 45-degree angle when pouring. Ensure a naturally pouring motion is used; do not try to "whip" or "baby" the bottle into pouring position. Step 4 - When the bottle is low, allow liquor to reach the neck of the bottle before tilting the 45-degree angle. Place the spout to the lip of the glass, then raise the tail of the bottle. Step 5 - To wash, soak the pourer in warm, soapy water, then rinse in cold water.
