1950's RECORD STORE Wire Rack HOLDER Holds 60 Records
I believe this wire record holder rack may have been used in a record store back in the 50's or perhaps the early 60's. It has a metal strip along one side that names off six different styles of music along with numbers for each record. Perhaps it was in a listening booth? Measures 16 by 5.5 by 8 inches. From some quick research, it looks like Kelling Nuts was around in the mid 1900's in Chicago and later became Fisher Nuts. The fixture is in nice overall condition. It has six hooks for hanging. There is a removable Kelling sign which rests around the bars at the top of the rack. This leaves you with the option of switching signs out, if desired. This display is in good. Clean condition. There is some wear on the right portion of the sign. There is a little age related wear to the wire portion, but certainly no extreme wear. This measures approximately 30" tall and 15" wide.
