This is an ORIGINAL ERZGEBIRGISCHE EXPERTIC smoker. Made in GDR. I think this one is the TIN MAN but I don't know for sure. He has on a wood hat with felt brim and a black felt cape. He's holding a variety o items. Including two little metal graters. He stands about 6 3/4" tall. He's holding a thin"stick" or twig, but I took it off to try to let it make in there without breaking. Pulled from the sediment down in the deep almost black waters of a Beaufort SC river. We do as little as possible to our teeth. Just washing off in a lot of cases. Shark teeth like this one are amongst the largest teeth ever discovered. It is believed that in life, a shark with a tooth this size would have been near 60 feet in length. This is a beautifully intact smoker set from the 1970's! Fenton is known for hobnail and this set certainly does not disappoint! The lighter appears to have not been used other than to test flint- it looks as if no fuel was ever put in but sparks are present when lighter activated. There is little to no tarnish or wear to stainless lighter. All pieces bear the Fenton oval mark for the 1970's. The lighter stands 3 1/2" tall. 2 1/2" square and weighs 10 ounces. The cigarette box stands 3" with lid, 4 1/2" square and weighs 1 pound, 5 ounces. Each ashtray stands 1 1/8" tall, 4 1/4" long, 3" wide and weigh 7 ounces. I'm not a collector of these, so I don't know of the french horn instrument is part of this Night Watchmen smoker or not. Watchmen has a lantern, a small tablet with pencil in a leather should pouch, and similarities to other watchmen type smokers. It looks like one arm has been re-glued as glue is visible on the back side. Other than that, this piece is in great condition. French horn can be removed if it's not supposed to be there. Vintage German Smoker Incense Burner Volksmarch or Camper
Probably the oldest of the incense smokers I have. He stands about 5" tall and is carrying a wooden box on his back with sticks loaded on the top. He also has a water pitcher hanging from the box. I cannot say who the maker is because there is only a worn blue marking on the bottom of his feet. While the paint is worn he is the most unique smoker I have seen. Check out my other items. Stunning GBD Rockroot This is a Nice pipe Looks to have been lightly and gently smoked. Lucite stem has little chatter, and even less discoloration. Great large tobacco chamber. 5" long. 1 3/4" tall, and 7/8" bore. All of the pipes that I am selling belong to me. Please ask questions before you bid. I do international shipping. Just ask. I have been gathering pipes since 1968. All of the pipes I buy. Are to smoke. I have no"look only" collectables. And my best pipes go into my regular rotation. Vintage Steinbach Musical Incense Smoker with Tags-Works Perfectly
Vintage Steinbach Musical Incense Smoker. Made In Germany. Original tag. Plays smoothly and beautifully. As the music plays the tray of beer mugs turns and moves up the flag pole. I am listing as used. The smoker has been smoked but without the body over the incense. Excellent vintage condition with minor paint loss to the piano. Wooden with cloth accents. The piano player has a black velvet ribbon on his hat. Black velvet bowtie, a silk scarf with fray edges. He has dark brown which feels like some type of fur. I am unsure if real fur or faux fur. Solid and sturdy. Measures approximately 10 inches H x 6 inches L x 4 inches W. Please ask questions prior to bidding. Thanks and Good Luck.
