This unusual rolling tool was invented by Cyrus Miller and Patented Feb. 26. 1907. It is designed to cut dough into long buns, and the metal slats were movable to vary the width of the bun. The devise is marked"Miller Bun Divider, Mil, WI, Pat. Feb 1907" The tool is quite heavy, weighing over 5 pounds. To adjust the cutting slats, remove the four nuts to loosen the end plate. Align cutting blades to desired bun width, then reattach end plate and tighten nuts to bolts. There are 17 divider slats or cutting blades in this antique tool. The rolling.
