I assembled this pedal this winter with a friend and we labelled it with our own brand: Green Box Effects. We made loopers and others pedals. This pedal is used and working good. Painted with our custom sparkling apple green and clear coated. Few minor scratches on the enclosure as you can see on the photos. Vintage Panasonic T-81 AM/FM radio - eight transistors and a striking design
Here is the Panasonic T-81 AM/FM eight transistor radio from about 1963. Inserting 4'AA' batteries(not included) I find that it does not work. There is audio hiss, but no reception on either band. The case is in very good condition with just the normal wear to the chrome surfaces- light scratches to the case and a scratch on the dial cover. The impressive oval speaker grill looks great as it is free of dents or blemishes. The volume control changes the audio hiss and the tuning knob changes the tuning. The case has no cracks or chips. The back panel is missing the Panasonic label. The FM antenna has a few minor bends on the sections near the tip. But still moves easily to full extension of about 27" The radio measures about 8" W x 4" H x 1.5" D. This is a beautiful. Vintage Japanese radio, ready to add to your ... morecollection. Description: This auction is for 1.1 lb. Or 499 g, of gold plated stuff ranging from high to low grade. Most items are vintage. The majority are clean with no solder or plastic. I'll point out those that aren't clean. Pics 2- 5 show 160 g of high grade CPUs and chips w/3 CPUs at 92 g- VLSI. Intel, and Cyrix. There are 56 g of ICs, several have a gold top plate, gold legs, or both. Some were de-soldered. There are a small bunch that are legless, but with a gold soldered stainless( lid with gold internals. Two aren't ICs, but type 80186 CPUs and missing the gold cover plates. Last are 12 g of transistors with gold plated bottoms and legs, but some legs contain a little solder. As a side note, I believe the grey trace IC is NOT a rare AMI, and if it is, it's missing a leg. Pics 6& 7 are for 135 g of decent vintage mid-grade ... morematerial with 63 g of edge clippings from ladder wire(clips from ladder spool pins. Example of a pin attached to a clipping shown) 21 g of NOS gold legged black resin/plastic transistors, and 51 g of electric contacts. If you look close to the"51 g" marker, you'll see how I originally bought the contacts- there's a sample showing how someone soldered pairs together to make a gold plated contact. Like a dummy, I heated the ends with a torch to get rid of the lead, but it didn't work. The solder creeped further up the parts and left discoloration. So, I clipped the solder/lead off and this is how you'd receive them. Pics 8& 9. Are 204 g of mid/lower grade materials, with 127 g of mid-grade transistors with gold plated rims and legs(which are short, several with solder traces) 54 g of fiber/plastic CPUs, and 23 g of power trans with plated legs(grounding plates are not GP, look like stainless) USA bidders only.
