Vintage St.Croix Ultra-Light Fishing Rod
Up for auction is a Vintage St.Croix 8100-L Ultra-Light fishing rod. The rod is 5' in length but can be separated into 2 pieces. The rod shows much wear but is what can be expected from a fishing rod around 50 years old. I'm also attaching an article from the St.Croix website explaining some of it's history. 1957 1st Ultra- Light Rod: Remember the 8100-L? Not many do. But it was the great-granddaddy of a flourishing family of St. Croix ultra-lights. Built in four lengths with a Tennessee handle for hands and reel, rods ranged in weight from 3-1/2 oz. for the 78" model to just 2-1/4 oz. for the 48" version. Not bad for fiberglass and 1950s technology, even if we say so ourselves.

German silver apostle spoon made during the late 19th century. This piece was made between 1880 and 1900. This spoon is dedicated to St. Andreas or St. Andrew. The top of the handle is mounted with St. Andrew holding an open book. The bottom of the handle has a putti or cherub head design on the front and a royal style monogram on the back of the letter M, I believe, crowned. The back of the bowl has Hanau.
