Perhaps those more knowledgeable can tell this slings history better than me. I can tell you this sling was pulled from a 1916 British Lee Enfield No1 MkIII* It is leather and very well worn and used. I was unable to locate any markings. The leather is soft and soiled from use. See photo's. As far as I can tell the sling is riveted to the mounts. So unless I'm missing something it can't be removed from the mounts without cutting it. I do not know if it is original to the rifle, but it is worn enough that it looks like it's been through a war to me? The sling does have 1 small tear that I could find(see photos) The upper mount screw is an allen head, so I believe that it is a replacement screw. Mid-Century Herman Miller-style Orange Fiberglass Shell Swivel Bar Stools
Fantastic pair of orange fiberglass shell swivel bar stools in the style of Howard Miller. Each marked with an"S" on the bottom. Both are missing their rubber shock mounts. So they are a bit wobbly, but that is an easy fix. All of the fiberglass is in tact and both were recently treated with Penetrol to restore their original glossy sheen. They have a few minor dings to the edges of their shell backs. One shell has a small gouge on the edge of the seat, while the other has a bit of cracking where the seat bends into the back. However, these issues are simply cosmetic and do not affect the overall integrity of these stools.
