The larger. Hardcover book was written by Joseph H. Wherry and published by Galahad Books in 1968. It contains 713 pages that are full of pictures and text about early automobiles produced in various countries. It covers cars from the late 1800's up through the late 1930's. Other than the condition of the jacket mentioned previously. The cover, the binding and the pages are in very good condition.The second book. Edited by Joseph J. Schroeder, Jr. is a softcover printed in 1971 by Digest Books. It contains 288 pages of hundreds of pictures and descriptions of automobiles up through 1930. The binding and pages are fully intact and in good condition. I have had these books since they were new but it's time to pass them on.

This is for a lot of 55 original renderings of various 1930's- 40's cars done by a fellow named W. Russell Simmons of Rosemont. PA. These were done in the period of the cars shown. I do not know if he was just an aspiring auto designer or just someone who liked to draw cars. I far as I know he had no affiliation with the Derham Body Co. of the same area. Perhaps he drew and submitted his ideas hoping, or possibly succeeding, with a few. Some of the artwork is quite good, some not so good, as you can see. The cars are drawn and painted on various types of paper. All of the tires/wheel are prints that he must have gotten from a file or some other source and applied to his artwork. They all match their appropriate cars. A few of the printed tires are missing, as shown. Some of the cars are on just a heavy paper while some are on a hard ... morepaper board. Various sizes also. NAVMAN F20 GPS RECIEVER. I do tend to look after my items and feel confident this item should be described as"in new condition" I took the precaution of buying a genuine case and this has taken the brunt of any knocks bangs or scratches leaving the actual unit in an excellent state. The unit has only a very limited time on battery alone so should really be considered as having to be permanently plugged in while in use. It has a pretty accurate list of Speed camera sites and chimes when one gets within distance. However it doesn't differentiate as to which side of the road the camera is on, but it does keep you honest? I did do a maps update(when they were available)but Navman have now stopped support for this unit, but it does have an SD card slot to allow you to use other maps for different countries. However I have never bothered ... moremyself so don't know how easy that is. The unit comes pre loaded with UK and Ireland maps, as you might expect and has a"quick find" button for parking and petrol stations, full UK postcode search, telling you acuratly the house numbers on the street as you drive along, It can take a moment or two to find the GPS satellites and confirm it's start location.
