This electric drain plugs into a standard 115 Volt outlet and has a 5.5 ft long cord. This valve features a 1/2" male NPT air inlet which measures about 3/4" in diameter. A rubber O ring is included that you must place in the inlet port to ensure an airtight seal between the y strainer and drain manifold. The 1/2" female NPT outlet can be sealed simply by using Teflon tape. these are good quality, industrial drains that have a strainer built into them to protect the valve from debris, this strainer can easily be cleaned if it becomes clogged.
