Vintage 1950's Jacobsen Power Lawn Mowers 2 1/2 G. Gas Gasoline Metal Can Sign
For your consideration a vintage two and one half gallon 1950's Jacobsen can. It is from a local estate purchased by me several years ago because I thought it was so cool! It has directions as to how to mix oil with gas for two stroke mowers common back in the day. The can is made of metal. It comes complete with its screw on reversible spout. And even has the screen intact in the end of the spout! There are some minor dents in the side which you may be able to see in the photos. It measures just shy of 13" in length by 5 1/2" in width and 9 1/2 in height to the top of the handle. This is an excellent addition to any advertising collection or if you just want to own a really neat old can that does not leak and could be used for its intended purpose. The handle mount has one corner that is not connected as can be seen in one ... moreof the photos. The handle is not bent though, and works fine. This can also includes the original air vent cap. The only thing NOT original about this nice old can is it has a homemade rubber gasket at the base of the spout which you can't see unless you take the spout off. This tank still has its galvanized coating intact inside. It's clean as I washed it out with water for the new owner. Annovi Reverberi AR XMV3G25 horizontal gas powered triplex pressure/power washer pump with Minimatic unloader. This was attached to a Honda engine. I have since put the motor to good use elsewhere. When I had powered up the pump when still on the engine. The pressure/flow was low and it dripped water. Keep in mind, at that time I knew very little about these pumps, their function, and how to operate them. So I thought the best thing to do was to remove it, take everything apart, do my homework, and replace the obvious(to the tune of $90.00 plus shipping) I am no technician but think I did ok. After the fact, I realize there is such a thing as'priming' the pump to make it work! In addition, it seems like the bypass part of the unloader valve is sticking and probably always was. You are looking at bidding on a TEREX OMBP-16 ride on concrete buggy. It is powered by a Honda GX340 gas engine recoil start with a 5.5 gallon fuel tank. The engine starts on the first or second crank. Doesnt smoke, and runs smooth. It drives forward and reverse good at speeds up to 7 miles per hour. The dump bed is quick, up and down. It has foam filled tires. The steering tires are worn and the drive tires have alot of tread with cuts on them. It has forklift pockets for easy loading. The dump bed is 16 cubic feet. In good condition, no cracks, with some concrete stuck to the inside. The buggy weighs 1140 pounds and the max load capacity is 2500 pounds.
