Vintage Blue Band Sanitary Poultry Buttermilk Feeder 2 Pieces for Chickens NEAT
The following auction is for a vintage Blue Band Sanitary Poultry Buttermilk Feeder. It is used and shows some wear. Its made out of the same material they make crocks out of. The piece is a little dusty and needs cleaned up. It has a few small scuffs/marks on it. The only chips I see are around the holes the chickens eat out of and afew spots along the bottom. No major ones or towards the top. The bottom tray has some crazing on it. Its not cracked.It just has the crazing in the piece. The unit stands about 12 inches high. The plate measures 10 inches across and 2.5 inches high. A pretty neat piece with some small chips at the bottom. When its setting in the bowl.You cant see them as well as when the unit is out. 12' X 25' Poultry, chicken flight netting plant shade cloth
This is a custom made 12' X 25' woven heavy duty netting for a poultry pen. The netting has 50% shading and could be used for a shade cloth for plants also. I used this particular piece on a pheasant pen for 3 months so it is used but in very nice shape. The netting has brass grommets sewed in every 3' and I have included bungees for attaching to your pen or structure. Netting takes the snow load very well if there is some support every 4' or so.

Dr.Hess& Clark Poultry Pan-A-Ce-A Booklet& Letter to Customer This is a copy of Dr. Hess Poultry Pan-a-ce-a. Published by Dr. Hess and Clark of Asland Ohio. The booklet is an advertisement for Pan-a-ce-a, a poultry tonic, and other products for poultry care, but it also gives basic information on raising poultry. It has 32 pages and measures 5 by 7 1/2 inches. Also included is the letter from the company that was sent t with the booklet. It's dated March 27, 1916. It's likely a form letter with Clark's signature from some version of an auto pen, but is personalized with the recipient's address and the name of the store in her town that sells their products. The booklet has some color loss on the cover. And a badly creased lower left corner. The bottom staple has rusted staining the cover and some of the pages. The ... morecover is also splitting at the bottom of the spine. Dr. Hess and Clark of Ashland. Ohio was founded in 1896 and made a number of different veterinary remedies and products. They were a very successful company but were bought out in 1955, and in the way of corporate America, several more times after that. When one of the mega-corporate owners decided to discontinue the popular udder cream- used mostly for human dry skin, the great grand daughter of one of the founders bought up every case she could find for the use of her family.
