Hello. For auction I have a set of 3 primitive goat ornies. These were made from muslin, grunged and painted. I have stitched across their horns and painted them black. I have attached a tail made from twine to each. The ears were made from muslin and painted. I then attached them separately. These have black glass bead eyes. The ornies measure approximately 6 1/2" across. Also included is a grunged hangtag. This has'prim goats' stamped on it. This is a lovely single candlestick in the Aesthetic style dating from the late Victorian period. The candlestick is made from spelter which has been given a gun metal coloured finish and is probably of French origin.Stamped on the base BT 899.It has a very stylish look with a tripod base which is just like you would find on a piece of furniture of this period.The central coloumn is supported by three goat heads that have a classical,Etruscan look and finishes with swags at the top.It is in very good condition for its age with just a small edge missing of a leaf on the base and a couple of areas of scratching which i think a little black polish would sort out.It measures 25.5 cms high. Rare Antique Goat Head Cast Iron Door Knocker
Offered for sale is this rare antique cast iron goat head door knocker. There is a small chipping off on the lower part at the left side tip. Please see pictures#7, 8& 9, otherwise, it is in excellent condition. It measures 11"tall x 2-3/4"wide x 2-1/8"deep. It is heavy and weighs 1 lb 13 oz. The door knock did not come with a strike plate and missing the screw. The door knocker is probably designed for iron door/gate. It mounts on the door using a 1/4"D screw. It is easy to find this screw at hardware shop. The maker's name is on the underside of the knocker, please see picture#9, but I can't make it out. It is an old piece but don't know the age. The door knocker is in good shape and functioning well.

Red Childs Transferware Tea Set Deer Waste Bowl ~ Antelope Goat Animals c1870
Child's Red Transferware Deep Waste Bowl SPORTING ANIMALS Staffordshire. England c. 1850 This spectacular miniature transferware waste bowl or deep porridge bowl. Circa 1850, was originally part of a complete children's tea or dinner service. Somewhat crudely made like much of the children's wares of the period, the original tea set was made of earthenware and decorated in a rich and cheery red with wonderful illustrations wild sporting animals from Africa and India. The bowl stands 2 1/2" tall and measures 4" across the top rim. The bowl features 2 detailed transfers. Depicting an Antelope and an Indian Goat. The source prints are recognizable from the copperplate engravings of Buffon and other early natural scientists. Other pieces in the original set depicted a Royal Tiger, Black Panther, Black Bear, Beaver, Goat, ... moreKoo-Doo, Leopard, Common Fox, and a rather frightening looking Aard Wolf. The bowl is unmarked. It most certainly was made in the Staffordshire region of England c. 1850. The pattern name and maker is unknown. A set with this pattern is illustrated on page 78 Lorraine Punchard's"Playtime Pottery and Porcelain from the United Kingdom& United States" The bowl is in very good condition. With a superficial fracture on the foot rim and no chips, cracks or repairs. Enlarged stilt marks, original to the making. Light overall crazing consistent with age. This little piece was crude in the making with the usual imperfections, but the transfers were printed with great attention to detail. It is amazing that this little bowl made for a child(probably a boy) so long ago! Childrens early transferware of this quality is quite scarce and highly sought after. The colorful transfers are absolutely captivating. The set will make a rare addition to any collection of children's dishes or a sporting and hunting collection. Rare Antique EAPG Frosted GOAT HEAD Pattern Flint Glass Ale Goblet Bohemian XC
This auction is for a very rare old antique Flint Glass Ale shaped Goblet or beer glass with a frosted Goat Head pattern. It has a large diamond pattern around the middle with panels below and a short fluted stem. It may be Bohemian or German possibly by the S. Reich Co. of Moravia. But not sure. I cannot find another piece like this besides the large matching Goat Head Pitcher I also have listed now. It is very similar to the well known Mephistopheles pattern. It is very heavy for its size weighing about 1 lb unpacked! It has a wonderful ring when flicked! It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. Usual factory straw marks, tiny bubbles, and inclusions. It is very clean and clear! It measures 6 3/16" tall, 3 1/8" across top, and 2 5/8" at base or foot. VINTAGE CAST IRON HUBLEY TOY FROG& GOAT MECHANICAL BANK A Hubley cast iron mechanical bank known as the"Frog& Goat" The bottom of the bank is marked in raised lettering with"Pat Dec 22 Hubley 1906" It has rust and some missing paint. But is a nice looking bank regardless. It works by placeing a coin in the man riding the goats hands then pushing down the lever on the side of the bank. The goat then bucks and the coin slides into the frogs mouth. The bank measures 8 1/4 inches long, 3 inches wide and 6 1/4 inches tall. Case measures 16" tall from the top of the goats head to the bottom of the clock and measures about 10 1/2" wide. Old solid brass lyre type 30 hour movement with wood bird and flapping wings. The movement has been ultrasonically cleaned and oiled and new tops put on the bellows. The pendulum does not appear to be original. A very unusual cuckoo clock. Don't let this one get away! I have for your consideration a Fabulous Capodimonte Large hand painted with a lovely glaze cover old man smoking a pipe with a umbrella under his arm and his trusty friend a goat walking by his side. The detail and painting is truly stunning right down to the ambers in his pipe the wrinkles around his eyes and his companion the goat. The man stands 11-1/8 inches tall. base varies in size from 6-5/8 to 6-3/4 inches wide. I have checked this figurine all over and there is no chips or cracks and was well preserved for many of years The underside bears the mark of a blue crown and N underneath. there is also on the underside in the porcelain Regis No 626. I am unsure of the exact date would would believe to be early 1900's.or possibly earlier I am not sure.
