These are Large Fowl(standard) I showed in December 2013 and my roosters& a cockerel got best of variety and first places in Black Breasted Red(BBR) Golden Duckwing, and All Other Varieties(AOV) Splash. I also showed a Silver Duckwing Pullet that won first. The BBR rooster also won Best of Breed! Eggs are from the following pens: eggs will be marked) BBR- Black Breasted Red- I have a Double Tufted(Huge and even) Black Breasted Red(BBR) Rooster(most of the eggs will come from this pen) He is with 4 BBR hens-2dark, and some wild type/Golden Duckwing hens. There is one BBR/Dominant White hen with huge even tuffs in there. If I see her lay, I will mark her egg BBR/W. Pen S/W or Splash/White- I have a Splash Rooster(2 huge tuffs) with all white hens. I believe the rooster is a duckwing splash and the hens are Recessive White(as there is no red/gold on them) Pen GDW or Golden Duckwing. All the females are Wild type hens with nice. Even tuffs. This rooster is clean faced. Several hens in this cage are broody, and I don't expect many eggs. B or B1. I have a pen of Golden Duckwing Double Tufted Rooster with several GDW. Red Pyle, and BBR females. These eggs will be marked B or B1. The Rooster and Hens all have nice tufts, so about 25% of this will be homogenous for the double tufting gene and won't hatch. I have already hatched eggs out of this pen and gotten beautiful tufted chicks. I have been raising birds since I was a child.
