I found a similar sign that sold in a Military Auction in 2011-it was advertised as a German Stalag or Concentration Camp Warning Sign and sold upwards of $400. I have no way to prove what this was used for or where it came from-it was purchased at a Green Bay Estate Sale. The seller bought a house and this was found in the attic. The sign has porcelain chipping at the attachment holes and at the left edge. The back has some old rust spots near the edges. The unit has been fully refurbished and comes with a no quibble one year return to base warranty. It is in first class working condition and comes with all leads and clips attached. It comes with a short earth stake and if longer runs are required then a 2 metre galvanised stake should be driven into the ground. A neon on the front flashes to indicate the unit is operational. This unit would be spot on for a paddock or for strip grazing. A slot on the rear allows the energiser to be mounted on a wall or post. Any questions please ask. ELECTRIC FENCE ENERGISER/FENCER UNIT 12/6 VOLT STOCKMAN ONE YEAR WARRANTY. This fence energiser is manufactured by Horizont. The German company which has been making energisers for over 60 years. This unit has been fully refurbished and comes with an unconditional one year return to base warranty. It can operate off either an external 12 volt battery with leads and clips supplied or an internal 6 volt battery. The internal battery is a lantern type 908E or 4R25 which is not included but I have included a photo to show what it is like. They are readily obtainable from hardware stores for around £3.00. A LED flashes to indicate the unit is operational. There are two switches on the underside. One is the on/off switch and the other is used for changing the pulse rate from normal to slow. The latter can be used after the animals are used ... moreto the fence and hence conserve battery power. The energiser comes with its own integral earth stake which is simply treaded into the ground. For more efficient earthing a separate longer stake should be used. This is a medium power energiser and is suitable for paddocks or for strip grazing. Any questions please ask. This listing for two(2) electric fence controllers. I tested both units with a volt meter and the smaller unit(SS-725) made for dogs/small animals puts out ~800 volt current. The larger unit(SS-525) made for cows and larger stock was well in excess of 1.000 volts. My meter only reads to that limit. I left both controllers plugged in for 5-10 minutes and there was no noise or excessive heat build up.

Offered is a lot of twelve(12) heavy duty insulators with bracket and pin. Perfect for use with electric fencing. These were originally used at the beginning and end of telephone open wire lead. They were built to last and have an extremely heavy gauge steel bracket that in addition has a very heavy galvanized coat. The insulator is approximately two inches in diameter and has a 5/16 inch pin that can be removed by removing the clip(shown in photograph) Originally these were attached to a telephone cross arm with a carriage bolt, for most electric fence application a lag bolt would do. No attaching hardware is included(carriage bolts or lag bolts) with this offering.
