Lovely antique pitcher is 5.5" tall; usually a syrup pitcher but could be a creamer. Pitcher has the feel of fine china. Rooster and chickens are painted on one side. Some of the gold trim is worn off. There are a few spots missing paint; see in picture on lower right edge. No chips. Cracks or crazing. Normal wear to the bottom. I don't find a marking anywhere. However the hand carved ones are the most valuable and were made in Sweden. There is one small hand woven basket that measures 3.5" long x 2.5" tall. It has an attached beak. Comb and wattle. There is one hand woven straw chicken with covered wire legs. It will stand up on it's own. This one is 3.25" tall. And the best are these two proud roosters hand carved from small logs. The original bark is still on the body part. These are each just over 5" tall and 4" long. The birds are each carved from one solid piece of wood that had to be at least 4 or 5" around because the curved tail is part of it. They are mounted on smaller wood twigs. This is a good sized trade card from probably 1882. The card states that its 1881 sales had been 20% better than any other year so 1882 for the card's printing is possible. This churn. Which was called a"Cream Witch, is the first one churn that I have ever seen advertised. The company, Union Manufacturing, was based in Toledo, Ohio. I don't know how a churn works but somehow it makes butter. The image is in very good condition as is the printed part on the back. This 131 year old card has a good farm scene of a boy and girl feeding the chickens. the illustration reminds me of some of the pictures that I have seen in books from that era. It's a very nice card from an uncommonly advertised product, at least from companies in the East. It looks quite large and made out of some kind of metal, perhaps cast iron. Hello- this is a part of the figurines for Napco. S571 A-F, the chicken or puppy dog house. E& F have round package type gold boxes on the cakes. It is 2 1/8 inches tall and 1 3/4 wide. They are in sets of two or could be interchanged I suppose. The gold is very shiny on the door and has gold set into ridges between the white columns.
