It is made of glass and is a round dish with a center part that protrudes upward so you can place a bottle on it. It is 5 in. in diameter and about 3 in. tall. The top reads Patent No. 126997. It is sold in as is used condition showing normal wear from use and storage. There are no cracks or chips in the glass. All items are sold as found. Estate find I am offering for sale this nice vintage Chicken/Turkey Waterer/ Feeder. The base is unmarked but is a beautiful swirl of colors ranging from browns and tans to blues. Creams, and whites. It reminds me of bakelite coloration but I believe it is plastic. The top/jar is glass and is made by The National Ideal Co. of Toledo OH I will describe each piece separately: The base has a crack near the water/feed outlet due to someone previously over tightening the top. The crack should be able to be repaired as I have repaired other waterers that I use regularly. But I will leave that up to the buyer. The top/ jar is embossed Premier Chick Fount National Ideal Toledo Ohio in a circle formation. It has the numbers G130 B132 B133 in the middle of the circle" There are no chips or cracks in the top/Jar. Both pieces are in good used condition ... moreoutside of the fore mentioned crack. For your consideration is a chicken feeder made from galvanized steel. It is made to screw onto any jar with a standard size opening(I have it screwed onto a 1/2 gallon ATLAS STRONG SHOULDER MASON) It has 7 openings. The jar is filled with whatever solid the chickens are to eat; the feeder is attached and it is turned upside down on the chicken coop floor and carefully scooted to the desired location. It has a maximum diameter of 5 7/8" and with the jar attached. A height of 10 1/2" A previous owner painted the galvanized steel white with large black spots. The paint has peeled off in places and is chipped off in many more places. I do not know, if it should come apart like it does or not come apart. Vintage Stoneware Chicken Waterer Poultry Farm Crock Feeder Ceramic crock
I found this at a barn sale about 15 years ago and love displaying it. But some of my grandchildren live here now and I fear for its safety. There is one small chip on the ledge part. But it it scarcely noticeable and probably happened years ago. There is also a flaw in the back, dating to its manufacturer. Inside the top is a place where the clay separated during firing. But it doesn't affect the sturdiness of the crock. It was sold with a ceramic pie plate, that substitutes for any original crockery dish. There are no markings on the feeder. I love having folks guess what it is. Even my mother, who raised chickens as a girl, couldn't place it. I hope it finds a good home. It weighs 4 pounds, 12 1/2 ounces.

Early Primitive Folk Art Pottery Stoneware Chicken Waterer Feeder/Yellow Ware
Up for sale is an early piece of pottery. Found in Alabama. It is unglazed and appears to be a piece of yellow ware. I've been told this is the top of a chicken waterer but I guess it could be a bee hive cover too. It is 10 1/4" tall and 6 7/8" at its widest point. It is in pretty good condition considering its age and the amount of use. There are two firing cracks on the top and one other hairline. None go all the way through. There are also a few old chips along the bottom. This piece would also look great as an architectural piece. Thank you for your interest and please see my other items for sale.

Huge chicken coop for sale(about 7' tall X 4' wide X 5' long) with nesting boxes. Hanging feeder, and retractable ladder that allows the chickens to access the large fenced-in chicken run. On one side. There are two flaps that can be opened up to access the inside of the coop. With this setup comes: three nesting boxes on the far right side of the coop a ladder that can be let down or pulled back up with a pulley system that can be operated with a string pull on the outside of the coop a hanging feeder We were able to transport the coop just fine using a small Ford Ranger. The coop is fairly easy to move around in your yard. It has two protruding boards on either side that you can use like handles.
