The chrome is in fine shiny condition, with no signs of rust or stains. I didn't even see any scratches or use marks on the chrome. The glass jar is also in mint condition, with no cracks, chips, scratches or stains, so far as I have seen. The heavy metal nut is also in fine condition, and it is the only place where I have noticed any real signs of wear, and they are nothing more than is to have been expected. That wear is only in the form of a little lost finish on the side of the nut, where it goes into the blender base, so it is not something that will be seen when the blender is in use. Original 50's Oster Beehive Blender Base - Not Working - For Parts or Restore
Not sure how far people go in restoring these. But it is original, probably from when my parents married in 1958. So here goes, warts and all! Base only. I used it til the motor burned out. Spinning metal spindle had a rubber stem which broke off, but is present and included. Glass jar/lid has been sold(was the narrow square shaped jar) Metal tag that indicated speed has been sold. Top metal ring and top of body show some corrosion, but still shiny. Metal Osterizer tag present and in good condition. White body still looks pretty good for its age, but some general use marks, and smallish surface blemish in back that would face wall. Speed selector knob still present and in good condition- clicks to 4 different positions. Original cord deteriorated to the point of being unusable, so has been discarded. I was able to rewire it with a different ... morecord, but that has been removed. Worked great that way for a long time. Bottom plate shows some rust, but still very usable. Feet still present. A HTF 1/2Gal. Beehive Whiskey Jug marked in script below the handle: Sherwood Bros. New Brighton, Pa. Manufacturers. This stoneware firm was founded in 1879 and produced a variety of wares. The early"Black Label" Jugs are most highly sought-after, and were made with underglaze transfers, a fairly time-consuming and precise process. Their later pieces often used inked stamps(blue) and more commonly, an impressed oval trademark. This Beehive is in superb shape; a small nick on the spout. But otherwise mint. Ground color is white with a rust or orange decoration with light gray and gold. No chips or cracks. There is loss to the gold trim on the edge and light shelf ware on the bottom. The wood has a nice warm light brown patina. These are vintage wooden spool that would have been used in an industrial factory to make wool into yarn and thread. Description This is a lovely little Austrian colorful creamer with a figural scene on one side and diamond design on the other side. The scene shows two girls and a boy who is placing a wreath over the head of one of the girls. The main colors are green. Burgundy and white with a lot of gold gild. The rim is lovely cut with ornate gold decoration just inside. The gold handle has a bit of a twist in it. The mark is a beehive mark with 2 lines and a dot inside it. I was not able to identify the mark- perhaps someone else is able to. It measures 4.5" long including the handle and the spout and is 3" wide. It stands 2.5" tall. The creamer is is very good vintage condition with no chips or cracks or crazing but has some wear of the gold on the handle. A very pretty collectible piece! This beautiful saucer with romantic pink and heavy gold gilding trim features the Royal Vienna"Beehive" maker's mark. This mark is also known as a"bindenschild" or shield mark. It is symbolic of the shield of the Hapsburg family which is featured in the center of their crest. Indicators of authentic pieces from the"Imperial& Royal Porcelain Manufactory" of Vienna. Austria(1718-1864) are as follows: 1. The maker's mark is not perfectly symmetrical. 2. The piece should not be heavily decorated with ancient scenes of mythological or historical origin. 3. The piece would not have been signed. Nor would it have been dated during this time period. 4. The blue maker's mark should be under-glazed. Those marks that were applied later. Up for bid is this stunning hand painted gold gilt plate from Royal Vienna. This gorgeous plate is a double handle plate with a scene of 2 women and 1 man crowning the woman with a w reath in a garden scene. The hand painting on this p lat e is exquisite in de tail with the gold gilt raised where you can feel it to touch. The characters in this scene are very life like not cartoonish like I have seen on other plates. The plate is 11 1/2" wide handle to handle. It is in excellent condition but for some very minor wear and a mar on the backside of the plate. It is marked on the backside with a beehive. A stunning addition for your collection. Happy Shopping!

This Antique set is amazingly beautiful. For its age it is in excellent condition, it was made between 1890 and 1910 by Joseph Riedl from Royal Vienna Co. It has the underglaze beehive Austria mark in blue. The set contains: A beautiful creamer decorated with four women dancing and playing inthe gardens over an ivory background with stencilled gold leaves and a beautiful perced gold handle. The footed bottom and top have pieces with a very nice emerald green tha gives the piece elegance and rich look, the creamer measures 53/4"handle to handle and 5 3/4h. This can also be used as a small tea pot. An Underplate for the creamer decorated with ivory.
