I am not sure if there is one out there that is even in the great condition this one is in. I can find very little information on one similar to this. The only other jug I was able to find was one that sold. I believe at an auction, that was missing its handle and a large chunk out of the base. This is a MUST HAVE for Bauer collectors! This beehive jug measures 17” tall x 11” in diameter. This jug would have been considered in MINT condition but recently the spout was chipped which measures about 1 1/8” in length. I do not believe the chip takes away from its value much.I am starting this auction at a low price because I want to make sure it finds a great home. For its age it is in good condition, only a tiny chip on the underplate that is unoticed until you remove the little pot from it and turn it, it was made between 1890 and 1910 by Joseph Riedl from Royal Vienna Co. You are bidding on a very beautiful Circa 1880 Minton Majolica Large Beehive Cheese Platter and Dome. This piece is in the shape of a large straw beehive with blackberry fronds climbing around the dome. The bottom of the platter is decorated with a beautiful Majolica pattern. The top of the platter is a solid light blue color. The inside of the dome is a beautiful light blue color. It is in very good condition for it's age and size. There is one small chip in the glaze on the platter on one of the leaves. See picture above. There is also crazing on the flat parts of the platter and the inside of the dome. This is an antique primitive beehive crock jug that belonged to my Mom. It appears to be very old but does not have any markings on the bottom. The handle is bent. But appears to be the original handle. There are a few spots where the glaze did not stick to the crock when it was glazed. There is a dark spot near the top of the jug. There are also a few chips around the top and bottom edges. The jug is about 10 1/2" tall and 25" around at the widest point. PayPal only please. This is a 19 th to very early 20 th CENTURY OVOID SALT GLAZE STONEWARE JUG with COBALT MOTIF. VERY LARGE VINTAGE STONEWARE JUG with the letter“H“ mark. The JUG is called a“BEEHIVE” style and the motif on the front of the jug is supposed to be a bee. It is Pennsylvania-New York Stoneware. 1850-1890, but it could be from several makers. It is likely a batch firing sequence used by the potter, they generally used a letter instead of numbers on limited runs, meaning the piece is hand painted. Stoneware like that is fired to a VERY high temperature(about 2300 degrees F) and about 1720, American potters began producing a form of stoneware developed in many Europe centuries earlier-stoneware glazed with salt and decorated with cobalt blue that is signed“H“ with a Beautiful Symbol painted in Blue. Salt glazed stoneware like this was very common in ... morethe 19 th-Century America and potters produced it all over the country. Sometimes stamping it with their maker’s marks- but most of the time, they did not put on an actual name-like this one. You are bidding on a Pair of Vintage Bauer Pottery Mixing Bowls. Both of these Mixing Bowls are in Good Used Condition. The larger Number#18 Chartreuse Mixing Bowls is in Very Good Used Condition with No Chips or Cracks and hardly any utensil marks at all. This bowl does have some crazing lines which appear to be under the glaze on the inside bottom 1/3 of the bowl. The smaller#30 bowl does have a couple of very small pen head size chips. One on the top outside edge of the bowl(see photo#5) and one on the bottom inside of the bowl. No other chips or cracks to report, just some minor wear marks on the bottom inside of the bowl. Up for sale is this 1950's Siamese Cat on Beehive American Bisque Cookie Jar. It measures approximately 11 1/2" tall. And 7 1/2" in diameter across the bottom. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, breaks or repairs, but there is one small chip on the inside of the rim of the jar(please see pictures) and some crazing in the glaze. Also. Common in pieces this old, there are some manufacturer imperfections however, all major issues have been disclosed. There is a stamp on the inside of the lid, however, I couldn't make out what the symbol was. This jar would be a wonderful addition to anyone's collection or a useful item in the kitchen. Antq. Austrian Royal Vienna Augustus & Cleopatra Beehive Figural Footed Cup MINT
For auction is a very pretty and heavily decorated with lots of gold. Cobalt blue, red, white and purple footed cup. This is a Royal Vienna Austrian little work of art. One side is decorated with a figural scene of Augustus and Cleopatra the back is leaves and gold ribbon. The inside of the cup is solid gold. The other side is decorated with an elaborate cartouche. The only wear I see to this cup is two factory pings on the inside and small amount of gold on the toe of one foot. There are no chips or cracks. It has the over glaze blue beehive mark on the bottom and is hand signed Augustus& Cleopatra. It measures 3 inches in diameter(at the top) and is 3 inches high.

Early Victorian Beehive decanter
This is what we believe to be a small. Hand blown, beehive decanter dating from the early to mid 19th century, and a r eproduction of an earlier 18th century decanter of the same form. Maker unknown. An example of the decanter is shown in Andy McConnell's book. The Decanter, An Illustrated History of Glass from 1650" The decanter is in good condition for its age. This means. Of course, that it shows good age related wear and tear to the rim of the base commensurate with some 170+ years use. It has a plain base with a polished out pontil mark. The neck of the decanter is plain. The body of the decanter is formed in six convex rings that increase in diameter as it descends towards the base. The decanter is 16 cm(6.4 inches) in height without the stopper and 19.5 cm(7.8 inches) tall with the stopper inserted. It weighs 705 gms. empty. ... moreThere is some water staining and some minor chipping to edge of the base. There are no other chips. Cracks, scratches, or any evidence of restoration. The stopper is of solid ball form with air tears and is probably the original. It is a very good fit. Of the right form. And the decanter can be picked up when empty by the stopper. VINTAGE SPODE TEA POT ENGLAND - VERY EARLY BEEHIVE DESING No. 877448
Estate find. This is a very early Spode beehive teapot. Clearly marked on bottom(embedded) MADE IN ENGLAND. In very dark blue stamped lettering, it states, Reg. Design No. 877448. Well used, but no chips or cracks. Stands 5 1/2" high at spout, which is the tallest point. Base is 5" in diameter. Vented lid. Has some tea stains which I did not try to remove. I have no idea of its age, but research indicates that this is a rare piece. Color is ivory, and I believe it's glazed pottery and not porcelain. I am not an expert, so I may be mistaken. Black marks that may appear in photos were removed after they were taken, being only a smudge, and not permanent. No renovation of any kind has been made of this teapot; it has been lightly washed only. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have prior to bidding. Thank you. The Butter Dsh is in good condition- There is no damage or wear at all to the lid. The base has some wear to the green paintwork. And an underglaze stain on the inside(see photo) There is crazing to the glaze on the base but not the lid. Both top and bottom are fully marked Royal Winton Beehive. It is a glaze line from the factory. The top rim of the large bowl has a few little chips here and there in the glaze. Both bowls have a very dark spot on the inside from glaze or maybe baking. 1789 Half Penny Copper Coin Macclesfield Colonial Coin Beehive Design
Here is a 1789 half penny copper coin as shown in the pictures. Really nice condition for it age. I believe these coins may also be called"Condor Tokens" The pictures tell all. It is about 1-1/8" in diameter. This is the actual coin that will be shipped to the winning bidder. Notice the beehive design with a swarm of bees hovering about it. This coin was issued by Charles Rod who became a partner in several copper mines, including the famous"Anglesey Mines" in Wales. These mines were first worked under his direction, Roe& Co. BAUER HTF CALIFORNIA POTTERY COOKIE JAR FLOWER VINTAGE BEEHIVE POINSETTIA BERRY Just about 7.5" tall. This vintage Bauer cookie jar has the banded design as shown, with the flower design as seen. Is it a strawberry design or poinsettia? I don't know, but what I do know is that there are no chips or nicks or cracks, the lip is smooth to the touch, it is clean inside, and it rings clearly when tapped gently. The piece has crazing, the small kind, that is usually found on pieces this old but it only adds to the charm. Banded or beehive, again, I don't know, but you can see the maker's mark in the last photo that clearly spells out Bauer Los Angeles. This is a very nice piece. Sorry, no lid.
