Up for Auction is a vintage pair of Danish Modern or Mid Century Modern electric table lamps. They have the wood tripod legs on metal bases and white beehive style plastic shades. The shades are in great condition for their age. The shades are white. And look great! Both in good working condition as you can see from the photos. The shades are approx. 11" tall and when you put the shade on the bottom they measure approx. 15" tall. There may be a bit of rust on the metal. No repairs or damage that I can see really a nice matching set. There is a small bit of paint on a couple of the legs on one lamp(see photos) You should be able to remove the paint with no problem at all, not much there. Vintage Art Deco school store ceiling light fixture beehive milk glass shade
For sale is a vintage art deco metal school store ceiling light fixture with an awesome milk glass shade. It is a vintage light but is new since it still is in the box it was bought in and has never been installed. It has been stored in the attic for many years and the lady discovered it and sold it. The fixture with shade measures about 12 inches down from ceiling and about 9 inches wide at widest part. The fitter of the fixture measures about 4 1/4 inches and the opening on the shade is about 4. The fixture is metal painted a very dark brown almost appearing black and a white section holding fitter to canopy. It is in excellent condition. The fixture has a new bulb holder and the original wiring that is in good working order. The wiring does appear to have dried out some and is a little brittle being on the attic so long. It has a beehive blue mark and the#6000 which help to identify the makers mark also dating it to about c.1914. The plate is depicting a mother with her children as she digs for potatoes and the children watch the baby. It has a nice rich green color with gold gilt around the edge in excellent condition. It has all the gold gilt around the edge doe's not show as well in the photos. There are no cracks or chips. The overall condition of the plate is excellent. This is a clear glass mug that is 3-1/2" tall by 3" across the top. On the front are the 3 joined ovals similar to the Odd Fellows, beneath which is an"R" There are also a beehive, a crescent moon with 6 stars, one of which has partially rubbed off, and a bird and a flower(looks like a dove and a lily, but not sure) All of this decoration is in pink. Some of this decoration has rubbed off, but overall in quite good condition. Mug is marked Luminarc 36. I believe this is a Rebekas' mug. Mug needs a good cleaning, as it's dusty inside. Clock has been sitting on my desk and keeping good time for approximately 8 hours at the time of this description; probably needs a good cleaning but PLEASE REMEMBER: we sell all our clocks As-Is and As-Found and make no guarantees. Strikes on the hour and the half hour. Half hour is a bell chime. And the hour is a gong. Antique Vintage Seth Thomas Desk Clock Brass Inlay Small Mantel Inlaid Beehive
This small Seth Thomas desk clock came from an auction in Vermont. It has a wonderful brass inlaid design on the front. The clock measures only 9 5/8" high. 6 1/8" wide, and 4 7/8" deep. The clock runs and keeps good time. It does not strike. The clock dial has the Seth Thomas markings. The dial is in very good condition. The brass bezel supports a convex, beveled glass face. The glass have a couple of small marks. The face closes securely. The movement is marked 48J with the Seth Thomas markings- ST USA. I am not sure if the key is original to the clock. The cabinet has a few small marks and one corner has a rub line on the edge, see the 10th picture. I believe the dial to be porcelain.

Up for Auction is this 1927 Beehive. State Teachers College Year Book from East Radford, Va. I believe this book once belong to a Rhee Grabeel. In 1799. A new seal was created for Poughkeepsie, New York, which consisted ot this image on the flag: a beehive surrounded by bees. This massive flag measures 45" by 72" And was made in the 1920s. It may have been used in a parade or a town hall. It's in great condition. Colors are still vibrant, no tears or odor or repairs, just a few tiny stains on the white part. Can hardly see them in the photos. The darker areas on the white panel are just shadows. The grommets are tight. And it's in as found, totally original condition. We got it at a house sale in upstate New York. Not very far from its original Poughkeepsie home. The Reformed Church of Poughkeepsie was established by 1720. The community was set off from the Town of Poughkeepsie when it became an incorporated village in 1799. The City of Poughkeepsie was chartered ... morein 1854. Seth Thomas Antique Mantel Clock Beehive 89MV Key Pendulum Refinished
Early 1900's Seth Thomas Clock. The Beehive was a popular product in the 1918's or so. The case has been refinished to factory standards. The movement is an 89 ST cleaned and oiled. Mainsprings are in good condition and greased. Gongs on the hour to represent the time and once on the half hour. The dial is in"A- condition the doors open and close as they should. Back door is tricky and not perfect, it does open and close tightly. Brass feet have been polished as is all brass on the item, hinges, screws bezel, etc. I have tried to make this clock as close to factory as possible. The clock as a whole will show its age here and there, it will be up to you to find it, cosmetically it is"A" ST made fine products, they are still working after nearly 100 years. If this clock is maintained every five years or so, it will last ... morefor another century. 8 day movement needs to be wound every 7 to 8 days and will keep you busy, but will keep you company around the home. DESCRIPTION: Here is a fine set of antique English brass candlesticks marked with a registration number of Rd 223580. My research tells me that is from 1893. Both have the push up mechanisms but they are stuck and look a little crusty. The sticks themselves look very good considering their age. They came from an estate sale off the mantle of a very fine home. They are not exactly the same height. One is 9-3/4 inches tall and the other is 9-5/8 inches tall. The taller one weighs 15.8 ounces the other weighs 13.7 ounces. The shorter one has more wear to ... morethe beaded edges. Almost worn smooth, and it sits a little off kilter, a little wobble if you will. Some little nicks/dents and expected surface wear. If the push up comes up through it is covered with old crusty wax. The taller one has a bit of dark wax on it's base and you can see the push up coming up the top. Has expected small nicks/dents and surface wear. The cut corner bases are 3-7/16 inches with the taller one being more perfectly square. The other is 1/16 shorter one on side. The candle opening is also a bit wider on the taller one. Overall they make a wonderful antique appearance. Please inspect all 12 photos closely. Use the zoom tool, the pictures are an important part of my description and condition description. Up for auction is this antique Seth Thomas beehive Sonora Chime. This is the model“Chime clock No.11” 4-rod Westminster chime shelf clock. 8 days spring driven movement in a mahogany case, c. 1921. The Seth Thomas Clock Company was started in 1820 and has been known for making high quality clocks. This clock is no exception. The case is in very good original condition with a dark finish. Large[around 12 inches] with brass sheet caps to the ends the larger of which is about 2 inches in diameter& the smaller almost 1 3/4 inches- I cannot tell you the era it was made but it is I believe quite old maybe an antique of sorts.As the pictures should indicate there are many scratches[quite deep] to the wood body however I do not see cracks or breaks.

Small Brown Beehive Stone Crock Jar with Metal Lid Insert Solid No Cracks. The opening at the top is 2" the metal insert looks like it would come out. It is sitting in there crooked and I'm not going to attempt to remove it. The base is about 5 1/4" and it's about 6 1/2" tall. There are a couple of small chigger bites in the lip which can be seen in the photos. I don't see any cracks in the jar itself although the finish has crackling as would be expected. The clock is untested and will need to have the hands adjusted. The master behind Ingraham Clocks was Elias Ingraham(1805-1885) Elias. Was born in Marlborough, Connecticut. He came to Bristol in 1828 to work for George Mitchell building clock cases. In 1830, Elias Ingraham, now a noted clock casemaker, began working for Chauncey and Lawson C. Ives. He made over five thousand clock cases for them over the next three years.
