This is a set of vintage porcelain salt an d pepper shakers. Three bee hives. Each topped by a bee, on a matching dish. Excellent condition. I do not think the y were used. The salt and pepper shakers are marked Japan and one stopper is missing. The third piece~ anyone know what it's for?~ has a spoon marked Japan and on its bottom and the bottom of the dish it says Occupied Japan. Measures about 5 1/2 inches long and 2 1/2 inches tall. This s et is so lovely sitting here on the table and would be a wonderful addition to your table setting! This is a REAL PHOTO postcard. Postally unused, AZO stamp box used between 1904- 1918. Postcard Shows- Home with bee hives in back yard. Postcard is from a collection of North Dakota postcards. Card publisher/photographer: Not indicated. The overall condition is as seen; always check corners and edges for possible wear as grading is subjective(see scans) All postcards are standard size. They issued an affordable"Folding Pocket Kodak" camera around 1906. I used to collect some to send to a friend in Chicago. He told me that his grandfather and father in the old country used to keep a bottle of propolis dissolved in alcohol( vodka? Oozo? gin? I guess any high alcohol content distilled liquor will do) and it helped about every physical complaints; my friend told me that is what he witnessed I don't use any chemcials or feeder in our hives. But as I stated in my beeswax sale, I can not claim"organic" I am offering ONE ounce of the propolis you see in the picture for free. All you have to do is paying postage and the cut eBay AND Paypal charge. This comes out about $3.70. Then you can make own true Porpolis Drink. We collect ... morethe propolis from the hive's frame.
