Easily operated system for treating chemicals with hydrogen in the presence of a catalyst at pressures up to four atmospheres(60 psig) and temperatures to 80°C. Used primarily for synthesizing or modifying organic compounds by catalytic hydrogenation, reduction or condensation, but are equally suitable for other laboratory procedures in which a liquid and gas must be mixed vigorously in a glass reactor at pressures up to four atmospheres. I looked this up and near as I can figure. It is a 3926. The model# is not readable on the unit, but the pictures and features are pretty clear. We had this in storage, I cleaned it up and tested the motor and explosion proof switch and cord. All is in good working order, the ... moregear drive sounds fine. It has a glass vessel inside the shaker with the foam retainer. I was going to put this all back together and have a parts quote from Parr(they were very helpful) for what is needed to complete it. I just done have the money to put into it and then have to wait until it sells to recover my investment. It is not much work to get it working, just a few screws and a connecting rod, and some misc parts for the top of the shaker. It comes with a gas regulator and flex hose for the hydrogen supply. It is heavy! I will probably have to strap it to a pallet and get it shipped. It may be able to go into a heavy duty box with a plywood floor and ship vis UPS. But it will be close. I will do my best with the shipping calculator but a final shipping cost may be needed before final payment can be made. Parts I figured I needed are listed below and the cost is about $300. I have the full manual with pictures and part numbers. Diagrams and such in a PDF I can forward as well.
