1999 Supermax YCI CNC Turning Center CNC Lathe, Fanuc O-T Fanuc Control
1999 Supermax YCI CNC Turning Center w/ Fanuc O-T Control Used Max Bar Capacity is 2" 8" Chuck No Tooling. We have ran this machine for 5+ years now and it has always been a good working machine. The machine does have one issue. The tool changer will loose it's position. The machine may run 3 months and it won't do it or it may run a week and do it. It is not consistent but happens at anytime. It seems like a simple fix if someone would take the time. The machine is actually too small for us, so instead of investing money into it we replaced it with a larger turning center. The machine does show wear and tear as seen in the photos. All photos were just taken. The control buttons are wore some. The light holder up top is broke. The chip conveyor works and the machine holds good tolerances. We assume the tail stock works but ... morenever needed to use it. I have a video. It was taken right before it was taken out of service. At higher spindle speeds it sounds like the machine needs bearings, however we are 99% sure it needs belts because the noise is not consistent and goes away. The belt are in okay shape but shouldbe replaced in the near future. This machine has done well for us. Please message for the video. It will not let me post it. Any questions please ask me. Shipping and/or pick up- Machine weighs around 7500lbs. It is located in Philipsburg PA. It is and has always been in a heated building. There is a $450.00 loading fee. This is Axelson's model D heavy duty 20" lathe- made in Los Angeles. Actual maximum swing is over 23 inches and between centers rating is 115 inches. Nominally a fourteen foot bed. The overall length of the lathe is 17-1/2 feet. The serial number is 2340 which would indicate that this lathe was made in 1944 and it has a USN plate indicating that it was at one time a Navy machine. The following tooling is included: o 19.5" diameter four-jaw universal Bison chuck which doubles as a face-plate with 12 slots o 12.5" diameter three-jaw independent TOZ chuck- D1-8 spindle mounting o Stea dy rest with over 5" capacity o Taper attachment. You are looking at a Mazak SQT 15M Mark II CNC Lathe with live tooling on the turret. It was manufactured in June of 1995. I purchased this machine from a recommendation from a former employee who knew the mazatrol language. That employee no longer works here and everyone else here is really only comfortable with Fanuc. We wanted to use the live tooling on the turret for a specific job. That job has come and gone. We have had this machine under roof for 3 years. In those 3 years. I had 3 different employees who knew how to program the machine. If you know the language. man is it quick to make a program. I have been told by many people that this machine does not look near its age. I have been told by our Mazak repairman that this is the best condition he has ever seen a machine of this age. This is due to the company that we bought it from ... morehad very deep pockets and whenever it needed any type of maintenance or repair. It got it immediately without concern for expense. The machine did not come with a single live tooling holder. So just after I bought it. I had to put out an additional $12,000.00 for brand new Parlec Brand live tooling holders. We have less than a couple hours on any single one of the live tool holders. So they are basically still brand new. We also had to replace the X axis drive. So that is still like new. The machine came with a collet nose. I am sure it is under roof still but I need to put my hands on it. if I can find it. that will be included with the machine also. We removed the collet nose and put on brand new MWK Brand 8" 3-jaw chuck. Model# ZA6-8-52-27. This is a high quality Japanese chuck. can't remember exact cost but was not cheap either! This machine runs great! You could eat out of the back electric cabinet. I am very sure that whoever ends up with this machine will be very happy with it. Used Clausing Colchester Atlas 13"X36' metal lathe with tooling. Powered by 230v 3 phase two speed motor 3HP with hyd unit for tracer and untested coolant pump in base. 35-1500 rpm and threading 4-112 tpi with quick change gearbox. Acessories and tooling: 6" 3 Jaw reversible chuck. 10" 4 Jaw chuck, follow rest, lantern toolpost with 5ea holders, Live Center, original thread dial, drill chuck on MT3, Hydraulic tracer attachment on back side of carriage, and chip guard. The tracer attachment is untested and missing one center to mount pattern. This allows either a round or flat template to be installed behind the bed and the tracer will duplicate it. Up for auction is a set of gears for a Atlas metal turning lathe and any others such as Craftsman made by Atlas. I sold the lathe and did not realize I had this set of gears. The lathe model I think was a 3950 from the 1970's. I think this is a thread change set but I am not a machinist so look at the pics. Each one that had anything stamped on it is written under the gear. No need to type all that here just look at the pic. Schaublin 70 Watchmakers bench Lathe
This is a nice Schaublin 70 lathe with a tapered roller bearing enclosed headstock. The bed is very clean showing no dings or marks. The compound slide has very little backlash. 003-004 on the Y axis and.002-003 on the X axis. The tailstock operates smooth and silky as designed. There are no other accessories included except what is in the pictures. This an inch calibrated machine.The paint job is acceptable but not factory and does show some blemishes. Local pickup is welcome, an additional $50 packing fee will be charged. The safest and least expensive way to ship will be to break the shipment into 2-3 boxes.
