Early Delta No. 1200 24" Scroll Saw Parts
This is a set of parts from one of the earliest of the Delta De-Luxe No. 1200 Scroll Saws when it was introduced in the mid'30s. The crankcase cover is cast iron with Delta embossed is the trunnion clamp and table bracket. Delta is on the tilt scale also This lot includes everything shown in the pictures. The assemblies are basically complete with the exception of the guard that fits into the guide assembly. Nothing is broken or damaged in any way that is visible. What you see is the extent to which I've taken this apart. The air pump makes a sound as if is functional when you turn the shaft. It's a lot of little parts and it all fits in a medium flat rate box. A good opportunity for anyone restoring a saw that's missing things. Use what you need and sell the rest or keep as spares. The round cast iron cover would be a nice ... morereplacement for a damaged pot metal version. Dusty and greasy as shown.

Compact and lightweight at 21.5 kg(47 lbs) Use the fine adjustment knob to control bevel angles in fractions of a degree. The bevel knob has three settings: positive detents at 0 and-45 degrees, free movement between-45 and +45 degrees, and free movement up to +/ 47 degrees. Bevels can be made to the left or right, and the bevel gauge appears on both sides of the saw. The Kapex blade creates a thin kerf which reduces load on the motor and improves the cut quality. This plastic insert initially comes blank. Shopsmith catalog says it is for dado and molder cuts. But the user has chosen it as a close kerf insert. A 10" blade will protrude 1 1/4" above the surface. Underneath there is over 2" one either end of the slot before a reinforcing rib would be encountered. Sheet metal wye fittings for dust collection
Seven 5” x 5” x 5” metal wye fittings. Three 4” x 4” x 4” metal wye fittings, one 2.5” x 2.5” x 2.5” metal wye fitting, one 5” x 4” x 4” plastic wye fitting, one plastic reducer. Many of the metal fittings were purchased at Johnstone Supply. I sealed the seams with brown silicone rubber. These parts have seen light use in my home shop.
