This came in from a test facility that had some older equipment that they ... moredidn't need anymore. This looks like it was in storage and not used for awhile. A lot of stuff we get from h ere works fine. See a lot of great positive feedbacks we have gotten from these. And haven't been tested and sold as parts/repair, so must have been pretty good! I am not a technician, but I did plug it in and it fired up okay. F irst powered up and showed a trace pretty much centered in the lower part of the grid. I moved the trace left/right. Up/down. Increased/decreased intensity. Adjusted the focus, etc. I decided to punch a bunch of buttons to get the panel to light up and show that it does seem to work somewhat. Came up with two different traces, with two lines in each trace. Picture three has a dual trace in the center(center two lines) with a bigger dual trace(upper and lower lines) enclosing the inner dual trace.There is not much else I can do to test this since I have no probes. Machine looks great and looks like it would run just fine. B ut since I can't test. Will be selling as a parts/repair unit and sold AS IS. Showed some things I can do, and looks to work somewhat. In a 1- 2- 5 sequence, with either 1 Megohm or 50 Ohm input resistance, in channels 1 and 2. Channels 3 and 4 give 0.1 V or 0.5 per division, with 1 Megohm input resistance, and DC coupling. The trigger systems work automatically for most signals. I also love the measurement tools/markers for voltage and time. and 1/T or Frequency. You can easily get down to 1% accuracy. It works up past 350 MHz and even shows up to 2GHz on Freq measurement in 10x. but attenuation/cal becomes an issue way up there if you want more than a look/state on the wave form. Notice the picture with 500pS per division on 10x probe. that is a wave at 450MHz top of band width. but plenty of room to see even more.
