This is ... morethe Sencore BIG MACK CR-168 Universal CRT Tube Tester. According to the units Setup Booklet, the tester was made in 1986 by Sencore INC, Sioux Falls, SD, in USA. I don't know anything about this tester or how to operate it other than I did plug it in and turned the on-off switch to the"on" position and the needle under the plastic dial jumped up a little, then dropped back down. So, I assume the unit does still work. But, I do not know how to operate it nor do I have a tube to try to test it verifying its working condition. It appears to have been hardly used and is in very nice condition. It looks like a more advanced tube tester. It still has all of the numbered plug adapter's and it looks like you can test a variety of different size tubes. The case is in real good condition. See Photo's) Along with the Setup Booklet, comes the original 12-page guarantee pamphlet also. Hard to believe this paperwork was still inside it, so someone must have taken real good care of the tube tester over all these years. I am listing this for what I believe is a lower price compared to other similar tester's I've seen sold on e-Bay. So hopefully someone will be able to get some use out of it. I have up for sale this great Knight model 83YX142/143 tube tester. I have tried to get this to work properly but I'm either doing something wrong. Or the filiment supply is not working. It won't test a tube. So, I'm selling this"as-is" for repair. It is complete, the needle deflects when turned on, and the light comes on under the tube chart which rolls as it should. It is missing 2 of the knob ends on the 3 position switches in the tube elements section. This also comes with the original build sheet and operating instructions. There should be plenty enough info to repair this.

Vintage Triplett Vacuum Tube Tester model 3423, TV and Radio
Selling my Vintage Triplett vacuum tube tester after it serving me well for many years. I just don't have the use for it anymore as I am not as active as I used to be in the antique radio hobby. This set is in excellent original condition and even includes original hang tags and even has the original warranty card that was never mailed. My Dad had sent away for a manual from the Triplett company and he was fortunate enough for them to mail him back a photo copy of the manual that is also included as well as the mailing they sent for other products. They are still in business today! This tester is very much like other brands like Hickok or Precision or Jackson. As far as condition the carry handle just broke off on me when I went to pick it up but it can be easily repaired for appearance, I should of known better not to try and use the ... morehandle on any vintage radio or test equipment. The line cord is like new with no signs of any dry rot. This is a full sized tester, it measures 19x15x6 inch's, very impressive on any test bench. This is a Heathkit TC-2 tube tester. Very easy to use and known for reliability. The TC-2 will test 4, 5, 6, 7(large) octal, loctal, 7 and 9 pin miniatures. Will also test pilot lamp bulbs. All knobs present and all controls work, as they should. Illuminated roll chart is in good condition with no rips, tears or tape. Included is schematic, supplemental tube data, users guide and an extra roll chart. Will test vintage, military and modern types including all popular audio tubes. Grid/plate cap is in great condition. This tester has been refurbished and capacitors/ diodes were replaced. All resistors were checked and several were replaced. This tester is very accurate and tubes shown being tested were tested in a known calibrated Hickok 539C tester and gave the same results with the 12AX7 being marginal and the 6L6 good. I have up for sale this great Realistic tube tester. Model 113 Gm& Em, by Radio Shack. This is sold"as-is" FOR REPAIR" I have tried to use this but it's a little over my head. There may be nothing wrong with it, I just can't get it to work right. I put a tube in, follow the chart, and the meter doesn't read correctly. So, someone with a little more experience needs to get this and figure it out. The roll chart works good, there is a light behind it, the meter will center on the line voltage test, and it come with the extra leads shown. The case is in very good condition. This will also test transistors. This will be a great deal for someone!

I purchased this Tube Checker from a retired TV repairman/neighbor about 10 years ago and used it to check my guitar amplifier tubes whenever I was having issues or trying to match tubes for the best sound. It worked fine for me but I have not used it in the last 5 years. So I cannot promise you that it works as it did previously. Having said that, I am not aware of any reason why it wouldn't work. U.S. Army Signal Corps Dynamic Mutual Conductance Tube Tester Here is a great vintage tube tester for checking out those old tubes. Made for the U.S. Army Signal Corp by the Daven Corp. Model I-177-B made in the 1950's. Serial Number 1511. I don't know a thing about this tester. My brother was a big collector of military items and this was in his collection. It looks to be in good condition. Not all beaten up. Can't say if it works or not. It has the original w prong power wire plug still intact. The Department of the Army Technical Bulletin TB 11-2627-2 is still in place and in good condition. The case.It is in, looks to be factory painted"Navy Gray" over"Army Olive Drab" that can be seen through a few scratchs on the case. It is that color inside and out. 100% sure done as a factory color change as it's ... moreso well done. So probably was used in the Navy vs in an Army field position, if used at all. There is a data/ serial# plackard on the front of the case by the handle. Hard to read as it' has a light coat of gray paint over it. Since I don't know how to use it or have a tube to test. I replaced it with a shorter but larger in diameter resister of close to the same specifications as the original. It's been some time, but I believe I was able to achieve the voltages required for proper calibration from the three taps on the replacement ... moreresistor. As you can see the cord needs replacing. As I said this is a working unit and just before putting it on eBay I tested a tube known to be good,it fell exactly within the parameters it was supposed to. This is a nice Military TV-2c(the lastest version) in excellent operating condition. And good cosmetic condition. This is considered by some to be one of the best testers based on the Hickok Gm circuit. I've gone through the complete cal check(there are a few errors in the procedure) and added a few checks of my own. Everything checks out fine and I've tested a bunch of tubes(see the list iin the c/o sheet(last 3 pictures) This includes spare tubes(83 and 6X4) The screen supply rectifier's(6X4) heater is on a winding of the plate/ screen transformer. This causes screen voltage drift as a result of changing the plate fine adjust. This issue is nicely resolved by changing the screen rectifier to diodes, I made a 7 pin plug-in adapter for this. Up for auction is a Hickok 600A Micromho Mutual Conductance(Gm) Tube Tester. This tester is in working condition. But but is being sold“as is” since it has not been recently calibrated. The meter is in excellent condition; the knobs are tight and the chart roll bar works all the way to both ends. As can be seen from the panel face. There is little wear around the knobs which happens from frequent use. This unit operates using both a 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. When these tubes were replaced. The tester’s readings did not change– indicating that the original tubes are still good(and will be included in this sale as extras) The tester still has all four rubber feet, original handle, and the original power cord(which has the usual cracking seen in cords from its era) The unit comes with a cap connector, spare fuse, and a copy ... moreof the original manual. Picked this up from a local estate. I don't know much about this sort of item and have no tubes to test it and even if I had tubes I wouldn't know how to operate it or what to look for. Looks pretty clean on the inside. Outside latches show some rust. Outside case shows some wear here and there. Missing 4 of the rubber feet. I did plug it in and the eye lighted up and the eye adjustment knob opened and closed the eye. I also pushed the red button that says press to adj. line and the needle moved to the center of the dial. So I know those 2 items work to some extent. Has some other box that holds testtubes attached to where the cord is stored and there is also a plugged in clip that also stores in the same compartment. B&K Model 700 Tube Tester w/ Manual, 131 Tubes, and a quik-chek troublefinder!
B&K Model 700 Tube Tester. This is used to test various tubes. There is also an Instruction guide that tells you what to set each knob at for different types of tubes. I am not 100% sure if the whole manual is there as it is old, but there are 11 pages in the manual front and back on each page covers a lot of tubes. As for the tester itself I plugged it in and turned it on, the red light came on that indicated it was getting power, also on the right the yellow light came on indicating it is ready to test. I have a ton of tubes that were with this so I plugged one in and followed the directions, it lit up as you can see in the photos the tube lit up, so the heater and sensitivity work, I hit the test button and the meter barely moved, but the meter does work obviously if it moved when I hit test. As for the rest of it I do not know how ... moreor what it does. I buy storage auctions and all of this was in the unit. The case on the outside of the tester seems to be in pretty good shape for its age it has normal wear and tear but it is not bad by any means, the hinges on the case hold the case together but the lid will fall off if it slides out of the hinges. Also one of the knobs on the bottom row is missing. That covers the tester next I will discuss the tubes. Tubes- There are 130ish tubes maybe a few more or a few less but it is somewhere in that area doing a quick count. That is including the red thing with the wire you see in the pics I have no clue what that is, as well as various other random nontube items. I would say there are 120 tubes and then 10 other misc. items that are not tubes but are related to the tubes, I guess they are capacitors or something I am not sure im not an expert. All of the tubes are untested, I do not know if you can use them or not, most of them are out of the box except the ones you see in the cigar box they are in the box but I dont know if they are any good or not you will have to test them all yourself. 1955 Allied Knight-Kit Tube Tester-83YX142/3 This is a nice Vintage tube tester from 1955. It is by Allied Radio of Chicago. It has the how to build and trouble shoot manual included. It also instructs how to test tubes. I use to restore and repair old radios and I used it quite a bit years ago. I wanted to make sure it still worked. So I found an old radio stored downstairs and pulled a few tubes out of it to test this evening and a really old tube from a TRF radio I have sitting in my family room. The results are as follows. Which tells me the Tube Tester still works, which is a good thing! 6SK7- Tested good and no shorts or gas problems. 6F6- Had a short from the get go. 80(very old tube) Tested weak but good. If any, wear around the knobs as happens when a tester is used frequently, indicating this unit has seen little actual use during it's long lifetime. This unit has an 83 tube rectifier and a 5Y3WGT tube rectifier. Outer cloth covering of case shows typical wear with some worn through spots at edges and corners. Unit still has all four rubber feet and original handle. Power cord has been replaced. Unit has been used to test 5 Volt rectifiers like 5Y3, 6 Volt triode tubes like 6SN7, 6 Volt diodes like 6H6, and 12 Volt triodes like 12AX7 all with normal meter readings. I tested a few different tubes with the unit, and it seems to work fine. Test results comparable to other similar calibrated tube testers I have. Don't have any manuals for it, but they can be obtained on the internet. Its calibration status is unknown. It is always recommended that a tester be calibrated before being used. Vintage B&K Dyna Jet Model 606 Vacuum Tube Tester! Powers right up!
Outside is in pretty decent condition. With one small stain, a very small tear, and a little rust on the latch. Inside is beautiful and spotless. The screws have a little bit of rust. But are just normal screws you could replace, or leave as-is, because they wouldn't affect anything. Unit turns right on. But past that I have no way of testing it. Mint condition! Here at this auction is an antique Lafayette Model TE-50 Tube Tester. For hi-fi, guitar, amps. Comes with operating manual/instructions. A slide out built in drawer holds the tube data charts. Cosmetically show's some small wear and marks from age. But still in good condition. Powered up and tested a tube 12AU7 for emission tests showing good conductance( Micromhos) with no leakage or shorts present. The tester is great for matching pairs of tube based on emission tests. This tester is very compact and lightweight. Good for on the job testing or teaching students about tubes. The unit is small and compact measuring 10" x 8 1/4" x 2 1/2" It weighs in at 6 pounds.
