Photon Kinetics OTDR 3100 with Type 313 Plugin This is a Photon Kinetics OTDR 3100 Optical Time Domain Reflectometer. It has the Type 313 Plugin operating at 1300nm. The display is sharp and clear. There are no burns on the screen. All functions seem to work. I have no further way to test this unit so must sell the OTDR as-is. Basically the OTDR tests a fibre cable for damage. Poor splices or brakes and shows you where the faults are located. The system connects to one end of the cable, sends an optical pulse down the cable and looks for reflections.
