Very nice lot of vintage electronic test equipment! We did some simple testing with these and the results are given by each item and we guarantee nothing except that the tests we did got the results stated below. The pieces in this lot are; 1.HEATHKIT Signal Tracer. Model IT-12. We plugged this in and the volume on the speaker went up and down as the knob was turned and the light came on, so this appears to be in working condition, don't know for sure. 2. Fluke bench-top multimeter. Model 8012A. There is no power cord so we couldn't test this. There is a large sticker on the bottom with instructions for use. 3. TRIPLETT Transistor Tester. The gauge says model 690A(don't know if that is just the gauge or the model number of the whole assembly) The batteries are dead in this so couldn't turn it on. The batteries are odd shaped ... moreand would be hard to replace with the same style, but probably could make newer style batteries work. 4. MICRONTA Adjustable Dual-Tracking DC Power Supply. Model 22-121. With instruction manual. We plugged this in, the power switch light came on and the voltage level gauge moved from 0 to 15 as the knob was turned. Appears to be in working condition, no guarantee. A couple things in the instructions ae"Using the power supply to power one device or two with different voltage requirements" and"Connecting the A and B outputs in series for up to 30 volts" Several more uses for this very versatile piece of equipment. 5. GB digital multimeter. Model GDT-160. Very small for getting in to those tight places. The batteries are dead so we couldn't test this. 6. AWS clamp on voltmeter/ammeter. Model DSA-7610. But I found a gentleman who has a picture of this unit on his website and that is the number that he is using. Here is a link to his website. This unit has a new power cord. This part was located between the pin-card carousel and the multi-output programmable power supplies. It consists of 32 individual 1:2 precision 50-ohm BNC connector switches. The reed-switches are specially designed to adhere as closely as possible to the 50-ohm environment. Ground-path metal strips are located within the reed switch. And the signal paths to the reed switch are 50-ohm striplines. Brief specs include: Number of channels- 32 Impedance- 50 ohm Switched voltage- 28 VDC Switched current- 250 mA Breakdown voltage- 250 VDC Risetime- 350 ps Control ... moresignal- TTL Contact resistance- 200 m-ohm. Max The panel is missing the rear enclosure that is illustrated in the included manual. It is in excellent condition and perfectly clean front and back. It has not been tested. The device was known as an SM-4 Signal Switcher. And had a Tektronix part number of 013-0164-00. The S-3295 system from which this was removed was purchased in 1984 as a 93-ohm system, and upgraded with all new 50 ohm pin-cards in 1990, at which time this panel would have been added to the test head. Original cost of the system in 1984 was $ 1,499,000 and the 1990 upgrade added another $2.4 M! When they were'surplussed' in 1996, I purchased two complete systems for $7000! The manual sets alone weighed 400 pounds. Please note, this listing is only for the switcher- it does not include the VLSI test system!
